unfortunately not. You can try and use it in 1.3 without the dlc, and it might work, but youll probably get errors (most of which you could probably actually ignore)

I use 1.3 but without any dlcs which the updated requires. Is there a version that can work without the dlc but for 1.3?

For anyone wondering about this mod being updated to 1.4, it will not be, however I have something BETTER. I am making a version 3 of this mod, that works much more smoothly without as much janky XML and hacky fixes! So stay tuned for that!

Hello @Robfal2, thank you for your excellent mod and contribution to the community! Today I am bothering you with 5 questions/reports regarding your mod. 1. Some Hivelets and most likely other hive pawns are generated/created with addictions other than jelly. 2. Some non-hive world pawns are generated with jelly addiction. 3. Tattos are not properly scaled with Hivelet body size. 4. What is the proper clothes for the Hive Queens? They seem to not be able to use anything. 5. Cannibal Funerals in 'From Ashes to Ashes, Dust to Dust' seem to work incorrectly with Hive creatures. Remaining time counter goes to negative values, progress bar freezes at the end for several seconds and the process seems to be too long. Thank you :)

Oh almost forgot. Most of my hivers arn't addicted to Hive Jelly for some reason. Out of 40 odd hivling/lets only four spawned in with Hive jelly addiction. I assume this is a bug?

Yes i found the clothes in the talering bench. I didnt see that the start unlocked complex clothing. I had assumed Hivlet's would get their own tribal wear not industrial level stuff. Also I realized you can just remove the funeral ritual from your ideoligion with dev mode. :)

And hivelets should be about half as tough as the normal ones, not sure what’s happening there, and they have their own set of clothes to wear, along with the queen. You should be able to make them.

Heh. Its also funny. I've been going through Hivlets like crazy, at practacaly no cost. My ideoligieon doesnt even care about death so no sad thoughts and they dont care about canabalism so they just eat their dead... but the funerals... so soo many funerals. Funeral expected for *Expendable pleb #25* Funeral expected for *Expendable pleb #26* Funeral expected for *Expendable pleb #27* ect ect ect till it covers the entire right side of the screen. I wonder if there is a mod for getting rid of funerals.

*Little Hivelets* Keep getting them mixed up

Hmm seems like the little hivlings are twice as tough as humanlike Hivelings who are getting eviscerated. Also what clothing can the little ones wear?

@Planetfall havent tested it, but no new weapons added so should be mostly CE compatable.

Hate to be this guy but... CE compatible? Skimmed through the comments and didn't see anything about it. Really wanting a meatgrinder Combat extended playthrough with the new VE Wave storyteller and this mod seems perfect.

Quick fix... Create your own patch...

One: Go inte the patch folder and create a new xml file (or just copy the one thats in there if you want to be sure you got the right file type.


Two: Modify the file so that it only contains:

She may be unhappy for being naked, but how can i solve this?

idk if this moo is directly at fault but im unable to get rid of the eulogy notification off to the side since its not a dismisable notification and are just unsure if im not preforming enough eulogys to get rid of them since hivelings die so much or if theres something with this mod causing it

@R1NZ4 hmm, they should do that automatically without any intervention once it gets low enough, do you have any other mods that affect the drug system that might conflict?

why my hivelets do not consume hivejelly themselfs? i cant make drug pollicy eather. How to manage that thing?

this mod kicks ass and i am excited for the textures. i kind of want to make my own gross textures for it, but idk how many textures would be needed. i made textures for the pawnmorpher alpha animals integration and the pawnmorpher vfe insectoids integration before

@Robfal2 Rare is fine, I use prepare carefully anyway. I assumed you disabled them because of a surface "Doesn't make sense" but when you think about how most famous Hive Queens actually work their female presentation is nothing but a popular convention. Ones like The Borg Queen, Sara Kerrigan, Alexia from resident evil, Jasmine from Angel don't spawn from sexual means they could have been (attractive) men without changing anything. Even many of the ones that give birth like the Iksal Queen, (And it seems Your own Hive Queen) reproduce Aesexually.

@PaleEnchantress I could add a male version, I disabled it on purpose cause I thought it made more sense for the hive queen to always be a girl, but I see no reason to not re enable it, although I’m away at the moment so I won’t be able to edit the mod for about a week. I’ll probably still make it fairly rare though.

I ask of you, pleading humbly, one thing. Please add code for Male hive Queens. They dont even have to spawn they just have to function producing jelly and gave a torso so I can prepare carefully. There are quite a few ways it can be justified storywise, honestly a lot of the most famous sci-fi/fantasy Hive Queens could have just as easily had a male form without changing anything about how they function except in the case of Hive Queens that were once human you have a dichotomy added to the characterization. I find that more interesting. Also equal opportunity fan service.

The hive queen and hivelets have their own custom clothes that you have to make, every other race wears normal clothes
