Game never boots up every time I'm subscribed to this mod even if I make it the only mod I have.

Really I think the only thing she's lacking now is a door opening animation since that was the only time I could manage to make her t-pose without mods. (Though I'm sure there's probably other instances I don't know about.)

That's usually due to the Costume Select mod, turn that mod off and it should be fixed

I have the same problem as described by RsOnes below:
When I activate mod, the body of hat kid overlaps with the body of hat adult and the hands are stretched.

I like this mod. But there is a slight problem. When I activate mod, the body of hat kid overlaps with the body of hat adult. How can I solve this?

been testing some levels and online party and everything seems to work fine, please have in mind that the game becomes very unstable with many mods.

Every time I try to run the game with this mod subscribed, it freezes on startup and the game can no longer be played until I unsubscribe.

Post Update, well... Update.

Hitboxes now seem to match the Swings perfectly, most noticeable against Small targets like Rumbi and the Crows, since Hat Adult is actually too tall to hit them on the first 2 swings.

Unless I'm crazy, both Hat Adult's Normal and Sprinting speeds are now slightly Faster then Hat Kid's, from my tests, around half a second to a full second. They also look a bit smoother in comparison to their release versions. Going to need confirmation from the creators in regards to the "Slightly Faster" part though.

Sneaking animation is well done, but I'm a "bit" too soft-hearted to properly check the "Running away from Vanessa" and "Caught by Vanessa" animations.

i have nothing to do with his, his mod uses Hat Kid original skeleton and animations, a custom playstyle and a new model, mine is the original playstyle of Hat Kid but with a new skeleton, new animations and the original model

Do you have anything to do with Sunspirits playable hat adult mod? Or its just a coincidence that two people decided to make the same mod?

i have talk with Argle, the creator of the Costume Select mod and he has told me that the mod is old and there's nothing we can do about it so for now i recommend not using the Costume select mod with Hat Adult, and about the people that asked me for a character swapper in the hub, it's almost done, it requires a couple of fixes, you'll find her near the owl band in the room that leads to battle of the birds chapter

Regarding skins/costumes crashing when trying to equip them on HA, that still has to do with the costume select mod. Selecting a skin without the costume select mod installed shouldn't crash the game. (Still working on a compatibility fix tho)

complex dyes are actual models, not just an applied material so using the custom model tends to break the playable, but they can be installed alongside with the mod, and no, this mod doesn't conflict with the forgotten fates pack, you just can't use those costumes while playing as Hat Adult

Does this mean that I can't have any mods that add outfits installed along with this? I wasn't planning on using modded outfits with this character.

This is great you guys did a good job on the adult kids.

This must have taken alot of work and I love the effort put iinto our forgotten Hat kid all grown up i love it.

I do have the costume select mod. And now I have to select between sunglasses or no inner kid. Also is there a way to make her compatible with skins? Whenever I tried my non dye ones, the game has crashed. Which is a shame as business or time lord adult would look great.

I went through Act 3 twice in the editor version of the game (about 50 or so mods there) and twice in the normal game (again, with over 350 mods). I didn't crash any of the times I got the TP. If you were online during the time you got the TP and were about to load back to hud, that might have been why you crashed. It's common to crash with a good chunk of mods installed when loading back into the hub with online enabled. Otherwise I'm not so sure what might have caused your crash. Doubt it's HA specifically however.

Kudgel's Halloween Land map, specifically, the mission where a Ghost Owl Parade chases you from one side of the map to the other, after the screen faded away, the game locked up and then Hard Crashed.
It might have just been a freak coincidence since I have FAR less mods installed then you do, but the fact it happened at all means the risk is still there, I just don't know what caused it.

What mod level did you complete that resulted in a crash? I completed a few mod levels in my game with 450+ mods installed without any crashed in the following levels: Exactly 12 red balloons, no bonk surfing and pons and rift tokens farming. Completing the challenge road worked fine too. How many mods do you have installed and which level did you crash in after completing?
Regarding walk speed and attack range that should be fixed in the next release.

This adult Hat kid seems kinda scary to me...

Found another Bug, and also a Warning... If you complete a Mod Level as Hat Adult, the game won't know what to do, and Crash, HARD. As in, so Hard that the game legit had to validate itself afterwards.

Also, in terms of Bugs, I "Think" I might have found one in regards to her Attack Range. I swear I was hitting Crows from well outside Hat Kid's normal Attack Range, but at the same time, it felt like I had to get a lot closer to the Mafia in order to hit them, there might be an Range inconsistency there.

So far, I really like what I saw with this mod, the fact Hat Adult does a fancy Front Flip when pulling up from a ledge instead of Hat Kid's normal hop is nice touch, implying she's been at her job for a while now and got a bit more acrobatic, out of the animations currently active I assume they're going to look much smoother once its out of Beta so no judgments to make there.

And Actually... since this is in Beta I actually thought of something, along with Swimming Faster and actually being able to Swim Infinitely, how about making her Base Movement Speed slightly faster ala OOT? Since Adult Link actually moved slightly faster then Young Link despite appearing to move at a similar pace, since Longer Legs = a Longer Stride in your step.
