Consider lowering your grafic settings like NHC suggested.

This doesn't apply to everyone tho... myself i rarely have those bugsplatts on this map. +Bugsplatt can happen on any map

That is made as it really is in reality tho. You can really walk to Mont Saint-Michel while walking at the water/ swimming depending the water currents. My friend made is identic as he could since he live in this region

I didnt have crashes using steam version and steam modern combat mod, however the units can Jesus the water. All the water.... impass is not existing at all I understand beach but access the island from any direction?

Crashes usually come from memory issues. The only way to safely avoid them is to play in minimal graphics... but the game become quite ugly :s

To be fair i am clueless as to why so many have this crashes with the map. I think only relic can help us here or give an explanation

initially tested with nhc and yea it crashed, but then tested multiple times with vanilla / coh re-launch, and it indeed crashes each time after about 5-10 minutes....shame, as it looks like a really great map to get a full game through and actually capture & hold the island with the Mont St Michel..either way it's really cool..but it'd be cooler if it worked, lol

No idea. I am also not the map builder of this map but a friend which i no longer have contact to him sadly.... but if i ever get to him i ll ask him about it

Nope, no weird stuff installed or anything and just downloaded regularly via Steam. Try to run on a vanilla installation with map downloaded from in here? Perhaps some resources missing?

The map works fine n my side and my friends side on any mod we play with. Check if you dont have another map or a copy of it that provoke those crashes because otherwise i cant explain why by some it crashes only by others not.

Crashed on vanilla NHC and Blitz, at varying times. Lasted no longer than 10 mins. I hope you can fix this issue as the map looks interesting

Crashes repeatedly (after some 5 min.) with the infamous "bugsplat.dll"-error.
Playing as Nazi with two allies, starting position 1-3.

played the map on blitzkrieg today and had no crashes... its weird

Creshed for me with EAW, Blitzkrieg and EF

I guess this map is then not adapated for mods. though i could play it on NHC mod without incident

@crodders, you played a mod aswell?

x 3 crashes for me playing as axis.

This is to see if it does it in other mods aswell. Also the strange is that its working by some and not working by others.

I used original version. So yes its most likely due to the mod. I have that problem with Eastern Front aswell i cant play a single game without crash even though i really like this mod but cant play it...

Which version of CoH did you use?
I used the EAW-version.
Maybe that's the problem, although it shouldn't be(EAW is a steam-made mod).

@Sterben i played the map with my friend and it worked without problem. I suggest you to check if you have maybe a sync error with another map? which do happen often if yu have couples of custom maps from before the workshop

Please retry then, crash happens on any maps. The map was made 2012 so is quite old. i myself have no skill to use map builder so if there is a persisting bug on it any map builder is free to fix it and i ll update it :)
