Great mod, probably the best SCAR mod out there, plus it replaces the AK :)

There is PD2 PSG-1 out there with custom Hensoldt ZF 6×42 model out there and so many none-PD2 PSG-1, but still not so many up-to-date HK417 or G28 for Military Sniper on the workshop......

Quick question out of context to this mod, But why did you delete all of your hud elements for certain mods? For example, the Browning Hi Power dual pistols by splinks or the improved Remington 870 sawed off.

I've said it in my video, and will say again: I am not going to make a SCAR for SCAR, since an actual SCAR doesn't have a burst firing version.

I thought you could attach a flashlight on the end/bottom of the handguard tho? I could be wrong, been over a year since i've played it but i saw some guys with something similar on theirs. It's okay if you're not up to it, i'm fine with both options.

I am slapping a laser/flashlight on it only if it has rails.

Otherwise I would have to fit it with zip ties or tape, which I'm too lazy to do.

I'd say a mostly unmodified version would be best in this case, it already has a nice unique stock on it, just slap the sling and a cool flashlight/laser on it and make it replace the AK.

The model is a bit off, but serviceable. My thoughts are:

a) recreation of the model wielded by the Snipers: precision parts, and Theia Scope which is not available for assault rifles in-game (for Military Sniper)
b) "Wooden G3 thingy": wooden stock, handguard, and sniper grip (for AK)
c) something else... maybe a completely unmodified version

What about that Gewehr 3 tho? It comes with a cool HK21 LMG stock outta the box and there's even a option to put on a sling on it so it will definetly look pretty unique. Plenty of cool animation sets you could use too like Krycek's G3A3, HK33, PSG-1, etc.

Advertised as the most top of the line, tacticool, opera8or tier rifle out there... and has reciprocating charging handle and a stock which basically self-destructs, not to mention you can buy 3 other guns for the same price tag. The whole thing is kinda funny actually.

Interesting. I was going to replicate the Murkywater NPC version of the gun: it has a different stock and a rail extension, but no angled foregrip. Perhaps you could suggest an animation set?

Thank you so much for this mod. I already gave up looking for Scar mod for AK since most of their models looks horrendous if not, have bad animations. Glad you used the best animation for the gun.

When we are talking about multiplayer games, generic-looking standard issue weapons make more sense. And if the game has a lot of customization options, everyone can potentially have their own unique gun.

It loses a great chunk of sense when the "basic" model is already heavily customized, with unremovable flashlights, grips, stickers, tally marks, etc. Then you can get a squad of soldiers with completely identical guns down to the serial numbers, but one of them has a red dot sight, the other has a silencer, and the third one has a grip or something.

A good example of a very personal heavily customized gun is the Queen's Wrath L85 rifle. It makes sense overall, but the whole Survivor team can be using four identical guns, and then there's also Whitaker selling those clones.

No idea what y'all are arguing about but I do like me some attachments on weapons.
