Minor issues in the current version: The meltdown alarm is wired to "set_turbinerate" for some reason, causing the alarm to always trigger.
Also, the gaps on the blastdoors don't overlap properly, so water can't flow through them even when open.

It's the second ship where this happen. Something in a recent patch has created the problem because before you could access this periscope while being sitted in the chair nearby but not any more.
I fixed it.

I feel like I'm missing something; How do you access the railgun? The periscope isn't clickable for me, sorry if I'm missing something obvious!

OK so to answer my own question I edited the ladder to a 0.300 scale and shortened the top of the ladders to the top ball turrets. Then I brought the floor platforms in the top ball turrets one notch down. This helped give enough leg room for the AI to get off the ladder without falling down. I did notice that when you first give the order the AI goes up and down the ladder a couple of times before getting on the periscope. The bottom ball turret seems to have been fixed just by re scaling the ladder. There is a place where you legs can fall through the ball turret glass. I added a floor and made it invisible. That the stuff I've found so far. Though I am thinking about moving some stuff around in the command deck for singlplayer. I really don't know what the hell I'm doing lol.

Question. Is there anything can do about bots getting stuck on the aft side of the turret ladders for the top guns and the bow side of the ladder on the bottom turret? I already fixed the bottom airlock but I've fiddle with ladder height and such for the but they keep getting stuck. Not a huge deal in singleplayer but i tried to play with some friends and the bots kept getting stuck. There is a enough t o do to keep the ship running that we cant be running back and forth keeping power balanced and man the guns. I've never built a sub in this game so I'm not sure how to fix AI pathing or work around it. Any help would be amazing. Also looking for some people to play with on a regular basis. I love this game and have been having a ton of fun recently.

I'd love to see something like this perfected in the modern days,It's so unique but has some flaws that could be easily be removed or things just made simpler/better, it lags my game a little bit.
Also how do I get out of the bottom airlock once I'm in the water ? I can't just enter the ship from there anymore..

For everyone that is having issues with the twin guns not functioning properly, please set your Client Map Interval in Performance Fix to 1, as skipping ticks causes a malfunction to the guns on your side only.

please make a version without the chain guns they are abysmally horrible with AI and will end up just getting you killed because of the slow wind up

re-verified the integrity and had to fix some files; that helped. but it seems either Lua for Barotrauma and/or Neurotrauma is messing with the guns.

I've tested in the editor and all 3 turrets fire with both guns.
Have you modified something ?

Not sure if its just me, but I can only ever get 1 chaingun to fire in each gunner spot. there is only a safety button there, no button for 1 and 2 like with the older versions.

Railgun angle increased a bit and Command post glass fixed to avoid leaks when hte internal layer is not damaged.

New update: Compatibility with urban expanses update
- Optimized O² detectors assembly
- Optimized supercapacitors auto recharge logic
- Display of supercapacitors recharge rate.
- Fixed AI problems induced by new rule for invisible objects
- Rust and dirt textures
In addition:
- Improved railgun access layout to keep the ammo hatch while avoiding AI pathfinding problems
- backup battery for O² generator and airlock pump allows to turn off the reactor while scavanging

I dont know if it was fixed or not but when me and my buddies used this sub it was amazing but when we started to get to the deeper parts of the game the sub couldnt take the depth even with the hull fully upgraded was that fixed? its been a few months since ive played.

Is the update to blame for the lag? Cause I wanted to try this sub out but my frames are astoundingly low, even with the performance fixes

I've updated the submarine to make it compatible with Rising Tide update.
Sadly this update that was supposed to improve performance did the opposite for me and I'm facing big framerate drop when using this submarine so I could not fully test it.

I've modified the railgun turret to have 2 railguns firing alternatively and the safety of the chainguns to incorporate a diplay panel explaining what is going on.

It's a new feature i didn't know about, now there is a power input in the oxygen tank shelf and diving suit locker. If you plug a power source they will refil O².

It's possible to do the wiring yourself it is not locked. It will be a bit hard to find free slots for more cables so you will have to use relays, you can find one in the storage room next to the reactor.

It is not trying to be a historically acurate game and is more oriented toward action gameplay than wargame series.
It's faster paced with airdrops, helicopters lifting vehicles, tactical nukes, AC-130 etc...
The child of all the strategy games that I liked hte most: Company of Heroes, World in Conflict and Wargame.

New update containing:
- More crew logs mixing ambiant and tutorials
- Moved some AI waypoints in places they like to get stuck like idiots (at this point it's pretty much dark magic to avoid bugs)
- Improved airlock cycling loop with better detector placement and faster drain
- Added some canister shells for the railgun
- Price increased to 30000 to compensate the fact that upgrades are transfered from one ship to the next.
- Fixed the 2 problems reported by Matt92099

Everything that is not related to ship movement and shooting the guns. So lights, pumps, constructors, status screen.
I've left some "ship manual" logbooks in different places of the ship explaining that.
It's a kind of minigame. If there are things like that that are not obvious tell me and I will add more logbooks in the next version.

Ah yeah it's scenery only so it is non interactible but still takes damage.
Now there is an option to prevent any damage, I will activate it.
