yep, releasing an mk3 turtle helmet now, with those configurations in mind!

Would it be possible to look at the Mk III "Turtle" as worn by the Canadian divisions in the Netherlands? They seem to have worn heavy scrim in the Scheldt campaigns, and bandages very commonly under the netting.

@Viper Why would he make Chechen war addons when 1) they already exist and 2) This is a British orientated mod?, Just seems like a tad bit of a stupid request. Its like asking a WW2 mod to add in a SOCOM M4 and FAST Helmet

Also further to my last comment, most addon makers don't play the game. They get pleasure out of building high quality models for the game. That being said its a hobby, when you force someone to over do that hobby it becomes a chore.

Let the guy do what he wants, or purchase his skill sets for a reasonable fee :)

@Brian Hates Games what do you mean by that? Because it would be really nice to have the 1st Chechen war or 2nd Chechen war era Russian forces, and that would be very unique because there are only 2 or 3 mods that mention that.

eh they don't show the stats in arsenal but i shot them with vanilla .45 from like 5 meters and it takes at least 2 shots to kill em, same with Faces of War one; other mods probably has different stats for weapon ballistics tho so idk

meanwhile i shot the racing helmet with FoW or vanilla .45 and they die instantly so the HSATs here actually has more ballistic protection than the racing helmet, even tho the stats show otherwise (i really dont understand how they work)

Hey @sim noticed the helmets in-game have zero ballistic protection on them which worries me is an unknown issue. I know IRL the steel helmets like this couldn't really protect you from anything, however with how arma ballistics work this means the lowest velocity and smallest calibre round will still kill the player through the helmet as if it didn't exist, which is less ballistic protection than the base game plastic racing helmet as seen in the photos. I noticed this was an issue in UNSUNG when the uniforms had this and led to unrecognised issues of people being popped by the smallest cal rounds or richochet hits killing them instantly. If you can raise the value to something equal that to the helmets of other mods it should fix the issue:
