I also have noticed battles kind of hitch/freeze before they actually start the loading process (i.e. - begin filling up the loading bar), and that's a new one since 1.6.0 for me. Hell, was messing around with Liu Bei the other day and his battles would legit kind of soft-lock upon battle load for like 3 or 4 minutes before starting load. But that was one day, and never happened that bad since.
I'm sure it's something CA did regardless. Because, well, that's how it goes.
