oh ok ty i thought the button in the other bunker was supposed to launch the nuke but it was broken or smthn

Unfortunately, it cannot be done realistically or at least, as we want in a such old engine. The Source Engine is still really powerful and visually good, but we cannot modify the core code of the engine to add our functionalities.
What we have in mind is to create an advanced and complex sequence, within dedicated LUA scripts, but we have other projects to finish first before releasting the 2.0 of GmDesert.

Yes indeed, as you can see in the description. Only vast empty spaces of the desert doesn't have nodes, but navmeshes are supported

Helicopters are from "WAC Aircrafts", weapons are from "M9K" packs and player models are "US Marines Player Models".

This is quite intriguing, it require some investigation. Anyway we will release the new version after our main project currently in work.

npcs (rebels) don't interact with the turrets on the top bunker (the one with the rocket turrets.) they interact with the turret facing the door though. Don't know why the top bunker doesn't work, but it's a little annoying.

Snowy-Park looks really nice. But to me the main selling point of maps like Boreas and Desert is the bunkers. I really love these large bunkers, and especially those giant blast doors.

Indeed, we are terribly sorry about the delay of the upcoming update.
As Alexandre said elsewhere, " For the next months, we already have focus on other primary projects like "Squid-Facility" , "Hangar" for Garry's Mod and "Ardennes" for Day of Defeat Source. "

But, to reassure you, the Gm-Desert 2025 massive update is on our disks and we try to progress on the remaining models and optimizations needed to release it!

Indeed, it has nothing to do with Counter-Strike Source, that is an asset omission from us when packing all of our content.
Will be fixed in the next update as this corridor will be removed to create an hole new underground facility, much bigger that when is already existing.

Please precise if you speak about Navigation-Meshes with Next-Bots NPC, or old Node-graphs NPC.
In both case, road is cover by NPCs, only most of the desert doesn't have NPC paths due to Source limitations with the size of the map.

i'm using the DRG starship troopers arachnids and they won't go past that road, if spawned in sand they just stand still.

Disable or delete your other addon to not mess with this current one. You can't "choose" which file you want to use if you have two files with the same name

We are all full focused on our last project, Squid-Factory since November, this is why we took delays for Desert.

To help people out, to open the silo door,
1# go to the silo
2# find the small white cage lights, they should be next to the stairs on the silo "Surface"
3# pushing one of them should do the trick
Do note that at the time of writing this you can not fire the missile, only open the silo

Olivier, you could do some alternate edits of the map, remove the base part and add a barely full lake and dry river, whats left of a town, a rail line and maybe a small grain area and its a completely different context and map. Youd probably barely have to even change the terrain to make it work. just an idea.
