Could be much better. Like adding settings to remove some of the perks. I like the mod but I cannot stand visual impairements. Also, I find that most runs start with the exact same perk each time. Thundercloud, Trip, Clipped wings, gotta go fast.

@Firecracker.K I'd be really happy to see that. This mod is definitely my favorite of the "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥" style mods, such as the Ukko Only and Worse Enemies type mods, and I'm sure many other people would appreciate its continuation.

@subwe I was already thinking about doing some work on this mod, since I made it before integrated mod options in the pause menu were a thing and that would be much better than the ingame ui menu I created for this mod's options.

could make a few more as well with the new mechanics that game added since I created this.

We need this mod back... Would be the best mod if it were continued. Things such as "Tinker With Wands Somewhere" which allows you to edit wands in a single random area each stage. A setting that simply replaces all Holy Mountain perks with useless versions would also be appreciated.

Love this mod, and I think it could be turned into a much more fun mechanic. What if they spawned mid runs and tempted you to pick them up in exchange for health, gold or wands? Just an idea that could be a totally different mod.

Noita's 1.0 update is tomorrow, but I won't be able to check this mod for any new compatibility bugs for a few days after that, so its possible things may be a little broken before I can see if it needs fixing.

I think I've found a better balance for the obtrusive perk. it's smaller, and it'll disappear if you open your inventory which will allow you to see anything it might have hidden.
it covers your health, mana, and jetpack-fuel bars (or it should, this might change a little depending on your screen resolution). it's still annoying but wont cover 35% of the screen or make it impossible to see some information.

yeah I'll be honest I was on the fence about the view obstructing perk, but I thought it was funny so I included it. I dont know if there's much I can do to change it other than just making it smaller, or moving where it is on screen, so I could just remove it if people think it's that un-fun.

There are two sets of useless perks, there are ones that appear in holy mountain perk temples alongside normal perks, and ones that are in a separate list that are given via a script. Instant Death will only appear in holy mountain perk temples

Okay, I've played around with it a bit, and I do have one suggestion already:
GET RID OF THE VIEW OBSTRUCTING ONE.
All the perks are unfair, i.e: bleeding bombs. That's the whole point, but they're hilarious to witness the results of.
The screen blocker, however, is unfair in a meta way, robbing you of access to the entire upper-right portion of your screen... Including the descriptions of whatever useless perks you might obtain in the future, which makes for situations where you don't recognize the icon of the perk you just got, and you die from "nothing", which was actually the perk you just received doing its job.
It's incredibly annoying, and whereas the other perks at least let you try to survive, this one just forces you to restart your game and erase any progress you made, because it is not unplayable.

P.S: Does the Instant Death perk ever get applied as one of the random useless perks? I assume it doesn't, but I saw it in the holy mountain once and just HAD to take it...

You should tag this as "Quality of Life".

That was an extremely simple fix that took me an hour to figure out and I have no one to blame but myself.

Can be fixed in-game by reopening the menus in the proper order.

Hi, if you 1. open the menu, 2. then close your inventory without closing the menu, 3. and then close the menu afterwards, you'll have phantom elements of the menu eating your left clicks.

This mod is epic. Imagine a perk that attracts a butt ton of worms. I mean a lot. Like at least .5. Y'know? But seriously that would be pretty cool.
