@Zets I didn't change reliability hit from vanilla, but I'll look into it.

@Deli Paşa I've updated the mod, but generally it shouldn't be broken by updates (it wasn't this time, for example).

Hi great mod. Is there be any update?
Zets 2.6.2021 klo 15.34
Could you reduce the realiability punish? Seems like every treaty that I break puts me at Very Low

Thanks @Nikitian

@BesoC There were no obvious changes with the new patch, but I updated the mod just in case. Hope it helps.

@BesoC Absolutely.

Hi Nikitian. Can you please update the mod? Thanks in advance

Thanks anyway for your reply :)

@=[NK]= Col. Jack O'Neil As a game mechanic, no (to my knowledge), at least until CA gets to it. As AI rule it might be possible, but I wouldn't count on it (as it'd be modded at this point, likely). I think it might be pretty possible to negate (repay) the reliability hit for breaking NAP and declaring war after you have been raided by a faction (for balance reasons, maybe raided for a few turns straight) via event scripting, but that's only reactive/punitive, not proactive/discouraging, sadly.

Is there a way to change it so that raiding can only be done at war, or at least when there's not a non aggression pact or something?
Nikitian  [tekijä] 1.10.2020 klo 10.33
@TWW2Ranks Ohhh, that might be a difficult one. I know that you can disable diplomatic actions on faction basis (e.g. entirely removing the ability to declare war/offer peace with specific faction), but I don't know if Payment action symmetry can be broken (i.e. so you can have one option, but not the other). Maybe with scripting, particularly UI scripting, which I haven't yet looked into.

Sorry for not being able to help.

I have uploaded a new version that includes a few more treaty timers, as well as published the "short conflicts" submod.
Nikitian  [tekijä] 5.9.2020 klo 8.13
@sevenbillionjedi From my understanding, the peace treaty 'cooldown' was put into the game so that one couldn't cheese AI by short wars with surgical strikes, and then calling for a peace treaty immediately after taking a settlement or two (likely also destroying some standing armies, thus temporarily swinging the power balance in your favour) before the enemy can even theoretically attempt retaking them.

I've started working on a submod with lower values, however, for a slightly different take on "war" diplomatic state, inspired by your request. I think entirely removing the minimal war length is still undesirable (and might break something, for all I know), but what is a reasonable (and balanced) length for a "short conflict", in your opinion? 3 turns, 4 turns?
JediLordNathan 5.9.2020 klo 0.42
Can you make it so that it doesn't apply to be peace treaty, its rather annoying when you declare war on somebody or they declare war on you and you crush them in two turns or less then you call for a peace treaty because something more menancing (Usually Chaos) is coming to clap you: honestly declaring peace should NOT have a diplomatic penalty whatsoever
Nikitian  [tekijä] 2.9.2020 klo 5.47
@Lord Rickard I looked into it, and they appear to be perfectly compatible. I'll start a list now.

Nice mod, nice idea! Respect.

Can i use this alongside "Diplomacy Rejection Consequences"?
