unlikely for a long time, the pawn rendering systems been totally overhauled in 1.5, so a total rewrite is required, if its even possible to do, it may be beyond me

In RIMMSqol you have to check the "Shell Rendered As Clothing" on apparel that you want to be rendered under a cape / ShellEquipment layer
I imagin you'd have to do it for every Shell type apparel, which is pretty tedious
I did a quick test and set a random helmet to be on the OverheadEquipment and it did render above the Overhead layer, but I haven't got a clue why the shell one isn't working.. Any suggestions?
i have a feeling what your seeing is them wearing a vanilla duster, and an Overshell duster, that can be worn on top of armour etc, as im unable to make them equip two of either, but a pawn can equip one of each
re the multiple dusters, thats weird, will check it out
as for the translations, its not that its Not working, its that theres no translations for that added apparel layer def, because sadly i only speak english- and poorly at that.
it should be Totally safe to add or remove midgame
it ignores translations, so i have colonists wearing multiple dusters at the same time, some layered "außen" and some layered "outer slot".
ffs i hope this is safely removable midgame.....................

ive been attempting to, but hit an impasse, i cant figure out how to target some of the new compiler generated methods in 1.4 that deal with rendering the pawns heads, the way i had been using in 1.3 seems unable to detect the new methods, ive been unable to ascertain why
its the commented out example defs in this mod
yeah....its not a fun method to mess with, Very heavily patched by a multitude of mods, and trying to do so in a way that doesnt break other mods is awkward to say the least....but Hopefully this time the changes are lesser than the 1.3 update....

while it Does add extra layers, it doesnt add them to apparel, as noted in the description, this is a modders resource
