Amazing mod, works well. good pellet spread. easy to operate and get good at. can destroy kill drones from 20 feet or more sometimes depending on pellet spread. otherwise good fuckin' mod.

I absolutely loved the old Weapon Additions mod but there's something this addon and other 2-handed weapons like the bolt-action rifle is missing from that mod.

You can hold a flashlight with these weapons!
In the old mod, you can't since you're stabilizing your gun with your off-hand which forces you to switch between holding the gun and your flashlight Doom 3 style which is what I loved about it and helps balance them out compared to the handguns.

@Ethernitys After subscribing to the mod, you need to "Enable Mods" in the pause menu.
After that it is part of the random gun selection. (or accessible through the "Restart" button)

I am having some troubles on how to equip it

How do you use this gun

besides other mods(mainly pistols), this gun has a long barrel, which makes you a bit easy game.
pistols cannot shot through the window, you will all know that.
but if you stand right in front of the glass and press RMB(aim), barrel will go through the window and be able to shoot inside.
and there's side effect, if drone tries to kill you, and if it's REALLY close, you wont' be able to shot that because of that long barrel.

@1cetea You have to enable mods in the options menu. It is off by default. It should start showing up in runs afterwards.
As to how to use this gun: The ingame help menu should be able to guide you

Is it possible to change whatever the F key is doing on this weapon to some other key? I have the F key bound to "insert round" and "insert mag" and on this weapon I have to press F twice to insert a single round.

This is good mod, but am I the only one getting their eardrums shotgunned whenever I fire this thing? I swear it's 300% louder than the rest of my game volume, I had to turn volume way down to use it.

1. Inspecting chamber doesn't work properly, I can't check the shell in the chamber.

2. I don't think I'm suppossed to be able to handle flashlight while using it.

Would it be possible to add chamber loading? Maybe by holding R, T and releasing R to lock the pump back, then Z to load the chamber followed by R or T to push the pump forward?

I own a Remington 870. The safety is a push button type located on the trigger guard, behind the trigger under where the stock and and receiver meet. If you look on pictures of the 870 you’ll get a better understanding of it. I’m unsure if the safety was properly modded into the game as it’s been a while since a played the original Weapons Addition Mod from way back.

I've got a dilemma over here. I love this weapon mod, of course, but it's functionality differs depending on whether you're in VR or desktop.

In VR, you gotta physically manipulate the safety to turn it on or off. On this weapon, I can't find the safety! Does anyone (the developer or any gun enthusiast) know where to find the safety on this firearm? Knowing this is a mod and not part of the official game, the only place I could think of was posting on the comments for this mod.

I love this mod, though I wish the pump sounds were louder.

Really nice mod, though slightly confusing to use since you have to press F to switch between loading and shooting. I still recommend it.

can i be on the newest version of the game to use this?
