I love this mod but there is a problem with the artificial horizon script. Depending on how the screen is placed the horizon indicator varies in very chaotic ways. When I pitch up and down, some reversed up and down, some roll and other swing from left to right.

Heya awesome mod, but I've noticed it doesn't support creative mode symmetry.
If you're interested in adding them, let me know I can send you the .sbc for full symmetry support.

Pretty sure all the folks on my server are now using these blocks in all of their ship and stations. A+ mod. Thank you very much! There have been a few situations where people have wanted mirrored versions (with the screen on the flat side of a sloped block) for ship hull. Any plans to add something like that in future?

For anyone curious, the fix is as simple as adding the line <RequiredPowerInput>0.0001</RequiredPowerInput> to the definitions of each object in SlopeLCDs2_CubeBlocks_Large.sbc and SlopeLCDs2_CubeBlocks_Small.sbc.

Just adding to the reports of excessive power consumption. I believe a client-side fix should be technically simple, though tedious. In any case, I hope the author intends to eventually correct the aberration.

1000W appears to be the hard coded default for an unspecified power usage for a few blocks, possibly all of them but I haven't tested that. A standard LCD panels uses 100W

Are you sure? I never specified the power usage in the file. And nobody else seems to have commented on this issue

These are really cool but they use way too much power! 1000W for a 1x1 small ship screen whereas a large ship vanilla Text panel uses just 60W!

I do have one suggestion! The old mod had sloped LCDs of various orientations. For example, the 45-degree sloped panels that orient upwards when placed sideways. I find myself still lacking those

so i was using the older mod before, i'm currently trying to make ship using a minimum of block mods (using balance/visual mods)
Putting it in my fav xD

These mods should have been included in the vanilla game 5 years ago. And with the recent reduction in blocks (via rotation settings), there's no longer a good excuse. It's only a few blocks, and it adds massive potential to almost any build.

But I was wondering if anyone knows of a thin frame back support version (without armor blocks) to give that floating angled screen appearance like a real world multi-monitor workstation? Or a tiny rotor or hinge system (smaller than the small grid hinge and rotor).
