Eyyyyyyyyyy it worked! :D I managed to get the fixed page textures for the closed book model! Thanks a bundle man, that was actually driving me NUTS. e.e; But I'm glad I got it working, now my project can resume.

Hmm. Yeah, that's better, I can actually see it now.
But also, that's wrong and shouldn't be happening--I updated the book model to not use the 'everymanual' texture anymore; I don't know how you got it to give you an outdated version.

Hm. Okay. Last checks here, for sanity:
1) Are you sure you're getting the download from that dA post? The download button is an icon of a down-pointing arrow over a flat line found under the bottom-right corner of the preview image. That's the only "canon" place to get the download, if you get it from anywhere else it wasn't my upload.
2) Completely delete the last instance of the download you got before downloading it again; gonna try to flush the old version out of the system. Make sure that the prognosticus.mdl file was last modified in August 21st 2020.

If neither of these fix the situation, report back.

No; many-a-folk have used imgur in the past to show me things in the past. But I'm sure one could also finagle a way to post such a picture to Steam, deviantART Stash, Twitter, anything of the like. Around here, that is the most efficient way.

I just checked back and it's still fine for me. Also the page-closed-texture is literally built into the main texture for the book, so it should be impossible for that to be missing but not the covers themselves.

@Anachronistic ALLOS Yeah, I actually tried that, but for some reason the textures on the pages are still in that purple checkered "no-texture" look in the closed book model. Any way to fix that?

I have a direct download on deviantART that you can insert into SFM.

@Toxin [] Oh! Sorry. Somehow I put the wrong texture on that part of the model by mistake. Should be fixed now.

@Dolan [] Well, good news; the original game this is from is already about overturning a prophecy, so Nintendo already did that for ya. As well, the Dark Prognosticus' prophecies only lead to ruin anyways, as the passage quoted in the description states, while the Light Prognosticus was written purely to counteract against the Dark one and as such its status as a book of prophecies is questionable.

Wonderful; finally I have a copy of these books to burn. Prophecies are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥; nothing kills a story better than an Instruction Book to the characters' Destinies. spoils the ♥♥♥♥ out of the story in most cases...
