i know a very good way to do a life pod i did make a life pod that works the best i have some plastic to swim the boxes thats slows things down (so no hight can kill the people) and a activation fuse to drop it (when its on the wrong place it does strange things) and a industrial gyrostabiliser that it doesnt just drown the people.

The coolest thing is, you can actually make it explode :D place it into water, pause your game, place lots of bombs inside, unfreeze alot of areas where the ship should be destructed, in paused mode activate everything and instantly switch into play mode, and boom a nice aurora explosion with flying debris and more xD
