Since yeah, you need to activate the remix disc manually on the band specifically and reload the save file to make it work xp
I. Have you tried equiping the remix disc in the wowlz band, exiting to the main menu and then loging back into your save file?
II. In case you had equipped the remix disc, have you tried reloading the save file? (Pretty much as in the first recommendation)
III. Have you seen if you were using the remix mod in the exact moment which is the barrel battle fight specifically?
In case any of these don't work, I'd be happy to listen to any other details you could provide me with in order to fix up these problems you had encountered with the mod @Zaku
