For those unaware, the majority of the team that worked on this mod, among others with its owner, left, after he took them for granted, discouraged creative freedom, and took public credit for much of the mods talent and success. They left and made their own mod group, which has made new spin offs, the new version of this mod, since they could easily reuse the assets THEY made, is called Star Wars: New Dawn, they also made a Star Trek mod, and another Old Republic mod called Legacy of The Old Republic. Feel free to uninstall this one, its unsupported, and he has few friends or people willing to help him. He's been struggling to replace them for years.

Sounds like a "YOU" problem.

Whelp, here's the thing. This mod is severely outdated and doesn't look like it'll be getting an update in the near future. So this leaves you a few options.

1) Roll back Stellaris v3.0 and play the mod
2) Play New Dawn
3) Make your own Star Wars mod (w/ blackjack and hookers if you want)
4) Not play any Star Wars mod and whine about

For those complanining about this being outdated: Try 'SW: New Dawn' - it's basically the same, just updated.

why did they stop work on this i remember when they first announced took a while for it to come out then basically nothing. Seemed so promising and love star wars cant wait for the day when they do a star wars pc game like this like they did back in the day.

Yall just need to get the newer one that does get updates and is for the current version+ works just fine and can go on for ever if you want, heaps of end game stuff and they basically just copy pasted everything to it....

That's because you're probably trying to use it in 3.11, aren't you? Read the description, the mod hasn't been updated for over 2 years and the last version it works with is 3.0.

A lot of peeps don't mind rolling back to a compatible version in order to play the mod. But telling the Devs to remove the mod is selfish on not only your part but would be theirs as well, and a very good way to piss off the playerbase.

Anyways as said earlier, repetitively asking for an update isn't helpful and kills interest in updating; not to mention a giant mod like this takes a lot of work, and can be quite taxing, and can result in temporary (or permanent) burnout on one or more people on the team.

Given we're not anywhere near 3.0.4 anymore in terms of game version, it still works for 3.0.4. Just not in the CURRENT game version.
