the thing about needing a sanic character to gen a nav mesh is wrong press the ~ key it should bring up a console then type in Nav_ and look for generate go down to it and it will give you a nav mesh for all different types of NPCs the sanic one kinda is for each nextbot like that

dp do nav meshes you just need characters like sanic. then spawn them, click yes on the thing that pops up if there is navmesh, and boom, ya got a navmesh.
