SENT is short for scripted entity.
Scripted Entity. It's just fancy LUA speak for entities found under the "entities" tab in the spawnmenu.

Pretty much. It made it partially because the Combine Battery didn't do it for me.
It is it's own SENT that if you spawn it from the entity tab, and walk over it, you will have 100 AP.

No. Source is WAY different from HL1's GoldSrc.
