they work client side. they just change the scripts for all guns, so if you go on official servers you might notice a little bit of shake still if you're very sensitive to it.

i went looking at the melee scripts. i didnt have any luck removing the camera movement. i can only assume that the camera effects are applied by the models and not by the scripts. (i also checked out the chainsaw with no luck)

Could you make one for the melee too? For some reason, your mod is compatible with any custom guns; I don't know why, but it works. I tried other mods too that remove camera shake, but they were not compatible; your version is better.

weapon scripts only load on game launch, if you have any other weapon scripts, they will conflict with this. turn them off, turn this on, then restart the game.

Yeah, I also don't like camera shake I'm glad you did this.

it's just when your camera shakes when you shoot a gun. this mod simply turns that off because some people may not like it.

Then i can't do anything about it. The line changed in the scripts change the physical behavior of the gun. To remove the visual recoil on official servers would need to change the properties of the firing animations on the guns, which i can not do at the present.

no it always does that, it also seems the lower your ping the less it works in official servers
