Idk if this is the right place to ask, but I ran into an issue where there's no model for Denmother after rescuing, showing nothing when viewing her in the barrack. I'm also using Proficiency Plugin: Field Support Officer to change her class.

is there a file I can read every possible denmother future from the archives? just so I don't have to like, go through every possible scenario in the mission just to read those

also i think denmother has some sort of concealment bug. i'm on an extract vip mission, i have denmother and the vip next to each other, i send the vip to the side of a window it's fine, i send denmother to the other side and she gets spotted by a lost on the other side of the map. to be sure i loaded a save a few times to test things, then use pathing control to make sure the vip and denmother would take the same path to the same spot. vip is fine, denmother gets spotted form over 20 tiles away.

during the rescue denmother mission, if i load a save i become unable to target any enemies. i can still hit them with grenades an other indirect things, and once something gets hurt i can target it again, but no direct shooting after a load.

You can't reset the mission, but you can use a console command to just give yourself Denmother.

man i am playing lwotc+requiem is there any way to redo this mission, i keep getting jacked or you just get one shot, is there something i can reset in the config to give it another go?

Please never make it depend on other classes such as Proficiency or Crasher...keep this mod stand alone. Those classes are just too much in my opinion.

This mod doesn't add any missions, it just inserts Denmother into the first retalliation of the campaign. If you're asking if she'll appear on that mission even after the console command, then I think she will, yeah.

If you use the command "GiveDenmother." Will the mission to "recruit" her still appear?

If possible, I'd like to see one for the Alien Hunters DLC that adds a custom mission to rescue Vahlen.

Seems unlikely, considering that she will most likely return in XCOM 3, but it's hard to say when that will be.

No, not really. This objective shouldn't even be visible after the mission.

Well crap I can't post a link.. but for me, and this isn't where I found it but I can't remember where I saw it, but it also happens if you go to command>objectives and select Optional: Rescue Denmother.

This sounds like you are using the ChristopherOdd Season9 ModTweaks Mod, in which case there is config in that mod to turn Denmother into Knightfather (one of the Odd Mod Team members).

Maybe it uses the same internal soldier class name?

Weird conflict with supersoldier mod. Denmother is replaced by an N7 operative named knighfather. Any idea why that might be the case. when I use the command the very same knightfather gets added.

Found out what happened. A few hours later, Denmother was recovered from wound (it doesnt show her as wounded towards the last few hours), and can be selected. Thanks

Once you acquire the Denmother she's a regular soldier like everybody else. Never heard of an issue like that, but 99% it's not caused by this mod.

Hi, for some odd reason, I cannot choose her in the pool of solders for missions. There is no highlight for me to click to choose her. Why is that?

I've started getting crashes when using my Keeper (Denmother). Right after that the game crashes. Is anyone else seeing this? Is there a fix of any kind for this one? This occurs just after grappling with Denmother. Strangely, it worked for a long time... I'm getting this failure pretty far into the game, and she's grappled many times before without fail. Could this be a mod colision of somekind?

@Snoup Sniddly - Edit the configs from Mod Jam into the ones from this, and you can make your own variant Denmother.

Probably my favorite mod. Very fleshed out and Denmother turned out to be one of my best soldiers in legendary ironman.

You say this like this is a commonly known issue. This is the first time I'm hearing of this. As far as I know the mod works perfectly fine. If you're experiencing issues on your end, they're most likely caused by other mods. Follow standard mod troubleshooting steps.

Sorry to be one of *those* people with the dumb questions, but here goes.

Using LWoTC, I'd of course love to get the usual 2 extra rows of Xcom & pistol perks, but it seems like it'll require me to use Modjam, which I don't want to do. Is there any relatively simple way I can at least add in the Xcom row perks for her without changing my whole game up with Modjam?

Just reporting that if you use any armor that includes a grappling hook, things get really wonky (soft locking/failure to use the grapple, etc.,) if DenMom tries to wear it. You end up with two grapple icons and no real way to tell which is which. (Non grappling armor works just fine.)
(I've looked through the comments and only see reports about using her own grapple after something else having issues. All of her normal stuff works just fine for me...but put on a spider suit and yeah...wonky. No hard crashes though.)
