It still works :D
I'm sorry to hear you have issues. It does sound like an issue with ACE. I don't personally use ACE while making or playing missions, so it may brake some of their components if enabled. If a mission I've made has been created with ACE in mind, it is listed as a required mod or is recommended in the description.
There seems to be an official melee mod for space marines, in case point-blank shooting with the bolter is not something you like to do:

Hope this helps you in your future endeavors against the heretics and xenos alike.
Hmm... that's really weird, because the objective trigger is the same as the mission complete trigger, only that the mission complete trigger has a few second delay. I'll take a look into the triggers, just to make sure it hasn't been ruined by some update.
But yeah that head sticking out is quite annoying. It's a common bug in TIOW. So common it could be called a feature.
I forgot to mention this...the Astartes I was playing as had a head sticking out between his legs like he was perpetually giving birth bug going on the whole time.
Indeed it should. Did you finish the city task? The end trigger is a bit iffy at best, as the city usually has quite a lot of stragglers (that's where the backup comes in). While WIP I was trying to figure out an alternative end trigger, as a clear area is so unreliable in such a large area, but I couldn't come up with anything. I'll take a look into whether I'll be able to come up with a second, better solution. Thanks for the feedback.
