thank you!
You're right. Nod ligthblue fits better with the other colors of the mod. The new update changes Nod red by Nod lightblue, except for the multiplayer icon and the color on the radar map.
Have fun at gaming!
I like this mod.
But is there any chance for you to make the Nod white, like in the campaign, rather than red?
The bright red feels very off next to the more muted, realistic colors.
Thanks in advance.
many thanks for your comment! I am happy to know you enjoy the mods. Many of the modifications were wishes I had back in the 90s.
Have fun at gaming, and have a wonderful 2023!
today's update implements the requested color change. Have fun!
Yes, I can replace, for instance the grey one with the NOD red. Let's see if I can have it done this weekend.
Best regards,
I tried the mod and is working for me with the new (September 2020) patch. Perhaps the problem is with another mod. You may try deactivating all but this mod, restart the game, and try again. Let me know if the problem persist.
Cheers!
many thanks for your message! This mod does not use *.dll, so it should be compatible with the new patch. I will test it again this evening and let you know if it is working for me.
Cheers!
Cheers!
it would be great to have the color of the Nod faction available for the skirmish and multiplayer. However, for the moment, it is not within my short-term plans to include such a color. What I can say is that, unlike for the skirmish team colors, the Nod faction uses different colors for its units and structures, called in the XML file "BAD_UNIT" and "BAD_STRUCTURE", respectively. I guess that one would need to modify then the colortypeclass used by one of the skirmish/multiplayer teams (e.g., the first team, which is named "MULTI1") such that it uses the very same colors as for the NOD.
Hope this helps somehow...
Cheers!
<HSVShift>
<X>0.858333</X>
<Y>-0.655</Y>
<Z>0</Z>
</HSVShift>
If you want to change the other green instead, then you will need to change the parameter values for the Multi4 teamcolor to fit the color of your liking:
The X and Y of the <HSVShift> (line 308-309) will change the color; and the Z value of the <InputLevels> will make it lighter/darker as explained above.
If you want, I can place a link here for you so you can download and work already on the XML file I have created
