But its also a bad idea because if you dont go out of your way to report every single mod that modifies or makes a variation of your mod then the copyright is considered "depreciated" and is null and void.
You can either say "this is mine and nobody can use it" then take down every variation or patch, or you can take down none of them. If the intention is to selectively take down versions you dont like then thats impossible.
