@JokersDelights In what way do they not work? By default they need line of site to the boxes so make sure they have that, otherwise you'll need to adjust the INI settings. Also it only works with the Dedicated boxes, and make sure you have an item set for the box first.

@CrEaToXx Ok, so you also have the Hunted installed. That is an issue with the Hunted as it must go first, not Kanga Storage. The next Knaga Hunted will fix that.

I guess I nailed it down to the "quick add" wheel menu option. This seems to happen to all instances of storage that have item quick added applied. It crashes 100% on all those instances, tested numerous times. What I did was removing the engrams so the objects will never show up craftable. I still don't want to get rid of the mod because it's the only mod I know importing decend models of egg baskets/seed sacks, and I would really miss those.

For the time being I'd recommend trying the "Storage Bin" mod.

So I added a loading zone ontop of 2 thatch floors from S+, close to a storage shed that I had put in two wood before. When using "quick add" on the storage shed and trying to move my Dino ontop of the loading zone, both time crashed the game. It's recreatable for both occasions. Manually entering the menu and adding items to the shed works flawlessly.

This is a dedicated storage box..... thats what this mod is at its core. the storage boxes change the logo on the front once you add something in it. thats why you see pictures on the front of the boxes in the mod photos

Echoing what others have said, it would be great to have dedicated storages that look like this. Right now I am better off using a big blank storage because it be faster to get things back out. It this a change you can/are willing to make, or can make it so server owners can put mod programming into them somehow?

Nice work on this MOD. About Quality of Life, would be great if we could press "E" to instantly deposit all resources of the class assigned to the storage.
Then we could use just "F" to open its inventory.

Hey Sir, really liking the Mod so far, had just some things that would make it for me and my community a little more interesting:

• making the boxes themself able to snap to each other, both next and on top to be able to use them without shelves cause of esthetics
• if binding in toggle for snap and disable snap, make it bound to "pickup body" instead of G directly, so if you change Keys, it doesnt interfer
• an item count showing of how many item are in the box - maybe even able to turn it on or off

Thanks! To be clear, I was at the time only looking at the sheds. They can't be renamed, but I did notice the Dynamic Individual Storage boxes CAN be renamed. So it's just the sheds that need the feature I think. In order for Vacuum Sorter to work I need to be able to name the storage containers with the word "sort" at the end.

I'll look at adding the ability to rename them in the next update.

ug..also please allow renaming. Just realized I can't use this with Vaccuum Sorter because I can't rename them :(

Love this! It is one of the best looking out there and really love both the dynamic nature of it and the sheds in particular!
Any chance though that sheds could also hold Flint? Got wood & thatch, and then stone, but no flint?

2 suggestions for this wonderful mod I just recommended to the servers we play on (Gaming Evolved) and they are using it. Suggestion 1 - on front of box where it says storage let us change that label to like Coal or Crystal etc to match the picture. Suggestion 2 put the count of how many items are in the storage box on front of box at bottom. Great mod!

Love this mod, only issue I have with it is the fact that I cannot disable the snap points for the racks or the ability to make a warehouse like set up where I have rack back to back. If at any point there is a chance for that to be fixed that would be amazing.

Correct, they can not be placed in the cages, this is more an oversight than a bug, I'll look at fixing it for the next release.

I can not insert the Archaeopteryx in the Animal Cage is that a bug? In the description is all pick up and shoulder animal can in the Cage. I have no Creatures Mod on my Server all creatures vanilla.

This has quickly become one of my favorite mods, especially combined with the S+ advanced inventory sorting tool. I'd love to see a non-dynamic storage box in the future that can still snap to the shelving and keep things nice and neat, but be able to store multiple items like a regular storage box, for things like ammo and saddle chests!

Hey Autor this is a nice mod but i found a small error t the inventory slots no higher than 300. I think you have no updated the absolute max inventory items. Please bring a uüdate that the inventory slots can be more than 300.

This mod is literally the best thing to pair with RP visual storage. ALSO the shoulder pet cages are by far the coolest way to store and organize those little buggers.... is there anyway you have a list of animals that will work with those cages? or any way you are able to modify the mod to be able to accept any shoulder tame?

Any chance you can add the carryable animals from The Hunted to the list of what can be put in the Animal Cage? They were remapped in that mod and not Childed(? correct terms?) so I can not put my Dodos in neat egg laying cage rows anymore lol.

The Kanga Storage now has adjustable inventory size. Also the warehouse shelving can only be picked up through the menu (not by simply pressing "E")

This is an awesome mod but there are 2 things I saw that, if they could be fixed this mod would be perfect in my opinion. (1) The dynamic storage boxes only snap with the face outward from a wall, i understand why but if you are not building inside a structure they still will only snap one way, can you make them so we can turn them before placing. and the reason I would get rid of this mod because this is SO irritating (2) if you accidentily click on the warehouse shelf instead of a boxes inventory with "E" it picks it up and destroys all the shelves and boxes and you have to rebuild them again... I have done this 4 or 5 times. Can you let us lock the warehouse shelf or make it harder to pick up so we won't accidently keep doing this?

Is it possible that you need spark powder to keep perishable items? But not as long as in the refrigerator. And what would really be a unique selling point if you could select all items, including mod items that are in the inventory, as items for the box with a picture. No idea whether this is feasible in the dev kit. Just an idea: D

It would be great if you can make some out of metal that you can only destroy with explosives.

That is being worked on, Its currently in test but waiting another item fix, maybe a week or two.

I have to say, over all this is one of the best new mods I have checked out. Would be even better if it had a sorting bin you could dump all the stuff you gathered and have it toss it in the right boxes, but that is just a lazy mans feature I would like, the absence does not keep this mod from being great. Need to make more people aware of this mod and rate it.

I will be adding that to a config option, but sadly that is not available just yet.
