There was an update they did after I was done modding this game that changed how stages work. I don't have the free time I did back when I made this, and am too busy with work etc to do any updates.

If anyone wants to fix and reupload it themselves, I give permission for them to do so. Please stop asking me to fix it I haven't touched this game in years and wouldn't know how it.

Yeah, Daroach is incredibly broken, and has been for a while. As much as I love this fight, and would love to recommend it... currently it's just not functional.

uuh should this work like a craculla bos 2,0, that the CPU dissapieres? because they dont and I tried everything even install and uninstall map even turning their levol to 1 or 9 but theyr still there,

@DirtBot: Oh my god, I wish I'd paid attention to your comment sooner. Not only does your solution let me fight this boss on the current patch but it also solves the hitbox issues that I never even realized were a glitch in the first place.

I can't beat this boss. Not because it's too hard but because the CPU dies moments after i reach the second phase

@Fantazulio: I don't know if playing on recent Rivals patches causes that or it's just having a 2nd player that does it but regardless, playing on Expert also does it.

I'm having issues with having the custom dialogue pop up. The cutscene immediately skips to Daroach laughing every time. Is this happening to anyone else?

People seemed to be having issues with Daroach and a CPU, and I think I know how to fix it.
How I manage to fight Daroach without a CPU being in the way, is by putting the CPU at the very far right, and only the far right of the character selection screen. (AKA where Player 4's Slot is)
I think they don't remove the CPUs on the left is so that way another player can help you fight him.
But yeah, that's how I can fight him without a CPU. I don't know if it's just me, or a mod is required. So if it doesn't work, I apologies.

How do I switch it back to normal mode? It's stuck on advanced mode and I don't know how to change it back. Also it's impossible to actually fight this boss because the only way to be able to fight it is in versus or training mode with a CPU but that doesn't help because you have some stupid ass CPU in the way, not to mention if one person dies, mostly the CPU, it ends the game without you defeating the boss, which only makes the CPU more of a worthless nescience. You can't even do it in training mode because it still ends the round early if one person dies.

oh yeah and if you try to team with the cpu it wont move and the game is over if it dies once instead of twice

okay so for some reason the cpu wont disappear if i try to beat up daraoch, the dialouge system wont work, if the cpu dies the game is over. and probably alot more but this is already a glitchy mess and thats why this boss is impossible to beat with all the bugs

i hate daraoch and i am glad i can now beat the ♥♥♥♥ out of him in rivals of aether

so as of lately the npc also joins the battle idk if its a bug vai update but when you beat the AI you still lose because you never killed daroach

I've noticed recently that the system that makes the CPU disappear seems to have stopped working if you could address this that would be nice. :)

You can still fight him by right clicking Rivals of Aether in your Steam library & then clicking Properties > Betas > 2_0_8_2 Branch but it's not ideal since some playable characters don't work in 2.0.8.2 & some other bosses/stages/modes don't either.

small problem: for me, Daroach doesn't have a dialogue line anymore for any character, Aether mode or not.

it's bugged. In versus mode, no text appears and the CPU stays in the fight.

Are you gonna update this so that the new base characters have unique dialogue before fighting Daroach?

I dont understand why the description says to kill the enemies & attack Daroach before they respawn even though it's plainly impossible to kill more than a few before they respawn.

If I ever do have the time to get back into modding Rivals of Aether, yes I do plan on updating this boss in various ways.

Replying to Kobazco Oh, and Harbige12 recently made a new version of his Dracula boss which has a new health bar visual. Do you plan to change Daroach's healthbar visual in the future as well? Just asking.

I plan on going back and seeing what I can do in terms of a big update once Harbige12 releases his documentation on the new boss system adjustments he made in his SK boss

A suggestion if you plan to update this boss: perhaps give the Squeak Squad health bars to tell if they'll be defeated or not.

I mean you could maybe ask Harbige12 for help, I'm sure he would be happy to help

The music was a really odd scenario for me. In terms of how I coded it, it has no reason to work, and yet there are still times where the music cuts. I wish I could get it consistent as well.

Okay I've done a good amount of experimentation and it seems to just be a bug with the update or what.

I tried all from maybe only certain characters mess it up to maybe it's making the CPU random.

And none of that seem to be the problem, it seems to just be random.

There's times where the music will work in a row before it breaking again and vice versa.

Also not one to play boss battles in practice mode since they'll break in more then one way.

It has to be the update but yes your method work but I just wish theres a way to fix this for real.

The music works in expert mode if you play in versus and exit out and restart the match.

Really just restart expert mode until it works and make sure you are in vs mode rather than practice

It's not my job to add interactions for workshop characters, its the job of the creators of those mods.

2 characters that could have great interactions is Club Penguin and Ronald

For some reason it makes the cutscene music in Expert mode, I think this has something to do with the update but Idk.
