all recruits with an m16 spawn with no ammo. just watched 15 of my guys get annihilated with out returning fire lol. all the other guns seem to be working just all the M16s don't

Yeah i just noticed there is an early cold war version of police, that works much better. But yeah the BRDM-2 issue is a bit annoying.

@ Tiwaz Chernarus police is from the basegame. There is a cold war version in this pack! As for the BRDM - 2, I am unaware of said issue and there is little to nothing I can do about it, other than to remove the vehicle.

There are a few issues, like the(BRDM - 2) not having gunners. This made it very easy to just capture them. After we captured a few it got a bit too easy. Also the COP faction we used had AKM's. I think its better to give them just light weapons. Just so the players have a harder time getting those weapons.

We played against early cold war russians and chernarus porlice.

i had a problem with this mod
when the mod is on it makes vindicta take longer to load and breaks mod setting

Tried it on Altis, spawned in Zaros which I thought was fair sized, but still no civillians, just me and a couple of cops in town

@DickLouden Could you try loading up the mod on a different map with bigger towns like Altis, and check whether they spawn then? If not, I'll start digging through the code.

Livonia, lots of little towns around, no civilians though

@DickLouden Might be the town's size causing this. What map are you playing on?

I figured it out, it just took forever for the menu to load, now the issue seems to be that no civillians spawn, though their cars do...

@Dick Louden, did you select the cold war faction? Did you load the addon in your launcher?

how do I used these cold war elements, I started a vindicta mission on livonia and all the guys at the start had the vanilla weapons and gear

These factions might be done if they have all assets that are required for a Vindicta Faction to function.

not sure if this is doable but is RACS or SLA gonna appear down the line? It's all good if it's not.

Addon factions are independent of Vindicta releases unless specified on the discord. You should be okay with using this, even if Vindicta gets updated.
