This mod sounds like a lifesaver. Always wondering why there's not more UI/inventory management focused mods for ARK.

Is there a way to safe the loadout upon death ? When i die all my saves are gone

I love the concept, but would need to be able to switch the F1 & F2 key functions to different keys as I already have a mod that uses those keys. If there's a HUD overlay, it sounds like there needs to be a way to toggle it on/off also. Great idea for a mod! :)

i like this a lot but is there any way to change the switch key (F1)? i would like to use the " ~ " button as i feel F1 button are way too far

My version of the instructions, though the mod isn't too hard to figure out:

This mod lets you put multiple items in the same hot bar slot (the 1-0 keys) and switch between them using the F1 key, so you can have all your gathering tools in one slot, for instance, so they don't take up half the entire bar.

To set it up, get the "CT Slot Switch" engram (level -1) and craft it, then equip it. Left click to bring up the menu. Right click to toggle the entire system on and off.

In the menu, you can select a hot bar number (Select Slots) to customize. Then, select items from your inventory (using the left hand box) to put in that hot bar slot. It looks like you can only put each item in one slot.

Once you're done, you can put away the tool and then use your hot bar as normal, but now you can switch between the tools you've assigned to your selected number using the F1 key. F2 seems to simply scroll through each hot bar number.

I was looking for a mod like this after my previous option (the keychain mod) broke and went out of date.
Thus far it seems to work pretty well, but I figure a better-worded description would help people understand it.
My version of the instructions will follow shortly.

So my only issue with this mod that when it equips an item from a folder (where I typically keep my less used but still needed equipment), when unequipped, it drops the item back in the main folder instead of the folder where it originated. If it put stuff back where it came from and complete controller support, it'd be perfect. Just my opinion - I still appreciate your work!

I tried it and while it doesn't have controls specific to a controller, I was able to make it work okay using Voice Attack commands.
