In-game I disabled the FFB. But I use the FFB from the Logitech software that comes with the wheel.
Yes I use G29. But it also depends on the FOV you set and the mods you use. If I don't use any mod relating to the steering, and with 80 degrees FOV, I find it most comfortable with 50% steering sensitivity and non-linearity (middle of the bar). This will change if the FOV is changed.
I wanted to ask which steering wheel you have? If something like G29, could you maybe give me all the c_ff... lines from your controls.sii? It's the force feedback settings, i have my own ones but i don't think they are realistic so thought about asking for yours..
Not required, just recommended.
Is this needed or just a recommend? (I have the Logitech G923 Wheel)
2.5 Steering Non-Linearity = 75% - 90%
You are right. If you take a real truck to run on the road of this game, it will behave like the truck in the game. The problem is never the truck, you see. The problem is the road. The roads in this game are merely a marble floor. So all physics mods try to force the trucks to be extremely soft (sometimes ridiculously and insanely soft) to compensate the marble floor. I know it's shameful.
Then I hope the SBCF mod will be around for a while! I really enjoy the added challenge/realism.
Ok, does this mod have the same effects? So the wider turning circle and cabin movement? Thanks for the amazing mods btw!
This mod is not compatible with my "Steering-Brake-Cabin Fix" (SBCF) mod. You have to choose one of them. The reason why I have not removed SBCF because it's not a full physics mod and it's still compatible with the current game patch.
It is compatible with all truck mods as long as you place this one higher.
Slightly reduced brake intensity at low speed for more realism. Be careful while raining.
Slightly adjusted the steering wheel to be firmer and sharper closer to a real life truck. Please re-adjust your steering sensitivity and nonlinearity according to the sample photo (mandatory for 900 degree wheels).
Lowest (all the way to your left). But if it's too soft for you, you can drag it to the middle.
Reduced the brake intensity at low speed to be more realistic. Now you should set the brake intensity in your game option menu to 50% (center of the bar).
You don't have to. As I wrote clearly in the mod description above "These are optional, not mandatory, but to get the best from this mod and for realism you should follow".
Thank you very much for the video. It's nicely done. I put it up on the mod showcase already.
