Lowkey I've been spending more hours modding this game than actually playing it lol

@Alejvip It does, but least the game is so open to make mods for. I am inspired by what some of these people have come up with.

this game got a bunch of features removed and made more complicated. like who has ever enjoyed needing to make 50 fridges to just not die? like, i feel like playing this game with mods is the only way to enjoy this 67% complete game. yet i now have more than 1000 hours on it ;-;

Saddest thing about Starbound is the fact it needs mods to be a decent game.

I'm glad the devs left it. That leaves the modding community to flourish. Chucklefish seems to understand the concept that mods make a game. Devs design a game. Companies sell a game. Mods make the game. So fewer people would buy this game if there were no modding support. Sometimes mods sell copies of games! The only reason I bought Amnesia was to play Litronom's silly custom stories like The Small Horse and It's Hurting My Eyes!

you know the games dysfunctional when some of the bounty hunting update bugged out for me. much as i hate how i cant complete the swansong due to bugs i still love this mess <_<
