I'd say it doesn't work at all anymore, like there'd be no buddy equipped at all, but considering how long it's been since the last 1 that said that i'm honestly just not expecting a fix on it period

i'm actually planning on making it just not work on AI (with a toggle flag for devs of course) in an update; should be a very easy fix. eliminates the need for another version of the item.

If you use it with npcs sometimes they just break and stay floating

This buddy is absolute ridiculous fun. Me and a friend had a blast messing around with it, and close-up combo characters really benefit from it. I recommend messing around with it in turbo as well if you're looking for some Ultra Instinct Fox-level matches.
