Just a quick update, i'm currently working on a remake of this level, along with a bunch of other levels from the same chapter all in one map, so this map is currently a little dated and will hopefully have more features in the next version.

It's not just me. Multiple people I know have complained about the large doors being very loud. The kind of door in the first screenshot.

IF I do commandos, then I would want them to be very well done on their own (no need to tell them what to do every second) and working well in a squad. Bacta dispenser would also be very nice, and being able to issue commands on the fly.

there is a snpc of the commandos but the animations are just the valve rebels and combines, i was thinking with the republic commando mod that has the actual animations.

Yes. Do I want to? Not really. Creating something like the Geonosians, while possible, would be: Laggy, Inconvenient as people would need to manually add things to unlock features, or be extremely basic.

This actually looks a lot better in the Source Engine. The original maps in the Unreal 2 Engine looked a bit odd in visual graphics (had a bit of a clay-ish look to it).
