Nah, you still need lvl 20 for SV miners to be usable. Laser drill level got increased from level 10.

Thank you @Nightsinger but as you said "SV detectors/rcs/thrusters require lvl 5" and for this reason level 1 HVs are still usefull. At level 5 you've enough ressource for a better SV. But the interesting thing about the Komet is its low fuel consumption. You can fly even if you haven't found promethium yet.

This thing makes every design of a starter motorbike replacement HV obsolete. Why dwell on the ground, when you can soar the skies?

It would be a little more complicated @Bottle of bleach because in space you need thrusters in all directions and I'm not specialised in replicas, I'm more on functional concepts. If I chose this name it's mainly for its excessive maneuverability like the me163 in War Thunder.

I have a suggestion though. What if you made a space Me 262 ? Can be a fighter or a scout or both.
