Would love to see the reworked viking mod eventually. Also would love stone ceilings and walls to match the viking stone foundations. Just discovered this mod and am enjoying building with what is already there.

IF i can somehow recover these old models im gonna rework them and include them in the new mod as well but reworked with better performance

This is pity. this mod had huge potential. especially now, when Fjordur is the big topic. You won't find any other mod with which you can build good Viking buildings yourself.
It makes me sad, I hope something develops in this direction.

I know this mod is a bunch of crap.... That said i dont have the time or intention of revisiting this mod.. Im simply lagging of time and knowlege to fixing these Problems esp with the old devkit for ark.I know this is a huge letdown but there is hope. Im working on a new mod, as a buildingmod for ark but this time im not in charge of coding and all that olf Ue4 bullshit . Ill leave that to people that actually know what they doing. Please continue or let someone else finish the file. the mod is great but almost useless. because the roofs don't work properly either. the windows are unfinished. The gates are almost non-existent. Please do something...

ok im going to suggest you open source it so someone else can take the A1 version and fix and finish it... cause the only windows that allow for the inside is the small ones.. the big windows can not do anything with. they look nice and all but susceptible for things to fly in or run in if either on floor level or high up. we need the lattice windows that work.. also the small gate is only half there and only allows for the regular game gate use.. not the mod gate.

still have same problem i posted few versions of this mod back;
the viking fence default design is not visible for other players on my server. When i change design to half wall it does show. Wish i didnt forget this before p[lacing about 400 of them :D

Did anyone ever get the roof corner pieces to work with anything else than full walls?

Everytime i demolish the viking mug cup the server crashes. get rid of it it aint worth it.

So I tried to use the mod and it keeps crashing my Single Player server every time i try to open the door to get out of my building. i'm not sure why i've joined the discord and no response. I understand that it is a busy time for everyone but i'd love to get some help if possible. Thank you for your time.

Yeah that's fair, the ark devkit is a real piece of shit.

Though I wouldn't personally have any hopes for ARK II. Speaking from my experience as a server host, the long-term dedicated playerbase is only really here from lack of alternative games and genuinely hates ARK. I don't think a single person there wants ARK II nor sees a reason to get it or for it to exist.

I hope i can deliver a way more Highpoly and Optimized Exp. on Ark 2 . Since i got models for a China based Buildingpack as well a Greek Pack besides like 50 more Viking Peaces. But to make them shine ill wait for Ark 2

@Vuthakral I got a hard time writing this but i guess is has to be done... The Mod is on a hold for now since i simply dont got the time, that would be nessesary to lift this mod to a state im happy with. Since the Ark Devkit just takes a lot of time (loadingtimes, even Rename takes ages) Besides there a lot of crashes in it. Besides the Devkit lacks a lot of features due to his age. (like propper decal Support). In Short i moved on . I had alot more stuff planed even 3D Models where already done. But the Snapping system is simply to bad right now and it would only make sense to add more stuff if it would be atleast somewhat optimized. Im Planning on giving it a new try for Ark 2 since i still got all the models and textures in place. For ark 1 its on hold sadly

Hey I don't know if you still work on this mod / ever will update it, but I just figured I'd let you (and anyone else looking at this) know that a number of structures appear to cause game & server crashes alike. The woodstack and the decor mug will crash servers on destruction as well as have a chance to crash players as well.

Is there any chance for an official list for engram entries? Trying to either restrict certain things or alter the crafting costs is a real pain in the ass with having to go back & forth relaunching the game over and over playing guesswork with the engram entry names

Hi there @Hailun. Love your mod. Working on a significant Skyrim build and it's been quite fun to use these models. Is there a Wall to fit into the Thatch Roof Top? (The pointed roof peak.)

It's been super difficult to find these advanced roof options in any other mods. I can't tell you how great it was to find the Valley roof pieces somewhere. I only wish they could be found for all of the Vanilla materials. Know of any mods? I know there is a Roofs Plus mod but it seems to have been abandoned before getting to Thatch, Stone, etc. Thanks!

Great mod! I love the Nordic look! The storage containers at low level seem a little OP for survival - is there a way to limit the logs to store only wood?

Would it be possible in the future to have an ini setting similar to S+/SS/CKFR etc where you can turn on 'floating parts' or however they call it (Basically meaning you can build sections out and ignore aspects of gravity, and if broken, things like ceilings stay in the air. I think the other ini option is 'ceilings are foundations' to allow building out bigger projects? I may not be explaining that well XD; This mod looks amazing so far and I think it'll fit nicely when we move our server to Fjordur!

hey, the viking gate does have a door. specifically not the bone one, that has a gate, but the regular small gate doesnt have a door that i can find

HI, I adore this mod but it looks like the plank walls don't have a matching door frame and door? Am I being daft?

What tier of material does this classify as? I have a dino raid mod much like the purge in conan exiles on my server and was wondering.

okay cause i placed down a double door on the viking foundation and placed a normal wall above that to give a high ceiling but was not able to walk out the double door normally i had to crouch and walk out

@MrTwitchnAnubis there should be its based on S+ so every ini from s+ should also be available? Im quite new to Blueprints in general if you missing any Inis that could be since i dunno on that much about the devkit yet. OFC i want to change that :D

@Roelspaced Thx for the Feedback ill take a look once my workspace is back from the technical Doctor cause i got bluescreens all over the place :/ (Did you made sure to load s+ first ?) That may causing it)

Some structures + engrams show up as being Viking, this makes them not able to place.
(example: S+ stone triangle foundation marks as viking cant place it)

Also, the last bug i posted got removed i dont know if its fixed; the standard viking fence is not visible for other players. If i switch to the second design it shows up.
