Well, this tutorial and some of the comments really solved some of the problems i had with my turrets, however, i want to make turrets with large rocket launchers, since they can be reloaded by conveyors, i hope that keen will make small realoadable rocket launchers, the ones currently present are far too big for my fighters and i like to make them small. Also, the reloadable rocket launcher cant be used on the design of these turrets.

the rocketlaunchers permanently explode. (i did not stack the rockets. i put one rocket per place, 14 rockets each launcher.
what can i do ?

I built another turret but the gunshield doesn't align with the rotors on both sides any hints

Rotors can only take a certain amount of heavy armor attatched to them. Also, swivel issues, make sure you turn down the torque on the rotors. (Doing this makes it easier to turn, but also may cause problems if you use that many gyroscopes)

I built my turret and saved and exited, when I came back and loaded up the world the turret tore its self apart! HELP!

I think you need to put a rotor on the botom so that it spins around as well as up and down. though im having trouble with design.

Don't stack rocket pods and they should stop exploding. But I am having trouble with rotation. the turret doesn't want to swivel around the base and the pivot arm with the gun ends up seperating..

when your copying and pasting you dont have to place a cocpit to magnetize the turret you just have to hit p before you paste it when the landing gears are yellow

can be that copy/paste on your map is dissabled , to enable go in the loading screen in the options of the map

To all who don't know how to avoid smashing the turret when they rotate the gun too far, simply place a cockpit on the turret, get in the cockpit, press K, and set upper and lower limits on the rotor.
