Otherwise its such a good map.
Its not a bad level because its hard. Most of yall are just throwing a fit because you cant complete it. And thats no reason to bully someone. If you dont like the level, delete it. But I like it. And that cannot be changed.
JERK
THIS MAP SUCKS
Also, I admit I have no Idea how the two L-shaped pieces one was supposed to be done. I just climbed it and crossed it. If you want to make it so they can't be cheesed, it might be necessary to alter how the L pieces are set up.
:(
I like the ideas you suggested for obstacles and I will make sure to include them in a way that follows the theme.
Thank you so much for your feedback it really helps especially with this being my first experience with unity :)
That said, most of the obstacles on this level can be done somewhat safely, so besides the cane zipline ride, its possible to stay protected at all times.
Now if there were more obstacles where falling down is somewhat left to chance (like hurling wheels, leap of faith ropes, jump blast pads, insta-kill spikes/axes/hazards, swinging hammers that knock out the player) then I would definitely want to see more checkpoints to keep it from being frustrating.
Or if the level was longer, then chopping it into sections like the Island Hopper v2 level on the workshop does is a good idea too.
One thing I noticed is that there is no "win state trigger", so the map can't be "completed". I just reach the end and need to exit to menu once I'm done.
Still, 10/10 will play more!
