HOW DO I USE IT

Hey folks! Based on the advice from Hikka.exe, I finally created an updated version of the mod that appears to work on build 41. Just in case it breaks for previous builds, I published it separately. It can be found here:

Thanks again Hikka.exe for diagnosing that for me. Making that change seemed to fix things up right away.

Throwing an error on load on 41.53, not sure if it's causing any problems while in game though

i have an OCD and if this is working on 41.50 then you are god send to me. I waste so much time on organizing stuff so much that my character gets depressed all the time because of my obsessive inventory management. If you accept any suggestions i would give you one and it will solve very crucial problem for OCD people of Zomboid there is an "unpack" mod in workshop and with only one key stroke mod unpacks everything to nearby containers according to their categories however alot of people are using mods and their custom items are badly categorized. So when you hit that unpack button sometime hell may break lose. Your mod is specialized on individual items and thats fucckking wonderful. I was wondering if you could implement quick sort button that sorts everything to nearby containers for ıwbum 41.50. Did i say u are god send my friend

@Stick2TheShadows hmmm, I wonder if it has to do with the fact that I had 40.43 installed, then installed IWBUMS without completely uninstalling? I will do a test today completely uninstalling 40.43, install IWBUMS and see if I can replicate.

It's a super fresh install, totally vanilla, just this mod installed. I'm rendered clueless.

Ok, so i did a fresh install on another PC, installed this mod, and here's what i've come to. I'm still getting that red error box while launching the game, on the main menu screen. And after i started a new save, i didn't even get the "Quick sort" prompt at all (no errors showed up while creating a new save, only once, when launching PZ). Here's a full log [pastebin.com]. ISInventoryTransferAction shows up twice here, first time in the exception, second time here:

P.s. - i've tried it both on existing save (disabling mods via "More..."->"Mods" button) and on a new save.

Sure, I'll do when i get to my PC. My best guess - it's a compatibility issue, probably some other mod is overwriting that .lua file, even though i had everything disabled through "Mods" menu, while I've been testing this one.

@Stick2TheShadows alright so I actually decided to test this out right away. It seems like the concept of "explored" containers doesn't seem to be working properly on IWBUMS, but I didn't have those same problems you did. I was able to successfully use Quick Sort on some items I found in the house I spawned in on IWBUMS.

Would you be able to give me your full console.txt? The error you're getting means it was unable to extend the ISInventoryTransferAction class which is loaded from Steam\steamapps\common\ProjectZomboid\media\lua\client\TimedActions\ISInventoryTransferAction.lua - I'm curious to see if this file is being successfully loaded at any other point in startup. Thanks for all/any help!

I forgot to mention, i'm on IWBUMS version (41).

It also doesn't seem to work in-game, as my char is always saying "I don't see this item anywhere around" (or smth similar) when i'm clicking on "Quick sort" (I'm standing very close to the required container, test items are not 'favorited', i tried quick-sorting them from my backpack, my main inventory, but no result).

very cool friend, I tested it today for hours and didn't see a bug, I'll put this mod on my server and do a better test! thanks for the mod !! I complained about it for years and now you did the miracle: D (google Translation) kkkkkk

@Spacemarine Yeah I will be adding that. I was initially going to, then decided not to, but after using it more myself I think it would be fine and a nice addition.

Btw guys please let me know if you have any errors after hitting "Quick Sort". If you can take a screenshot of the console window (that black window with white text that opens up with PZ) I would super appreciate it <3.

Also, if anyone is using this on build 41 without issues, please let me know. I haven't tested myself, but it's entirely possible it might work there.

Gogo, improve the mod, we need more options to deal with inventory, we lose a lot of time organizing inventory in PZ. I will wait some time and then use this mod in a server too. I came here just to encourage this time.
