Disappointed. This mod puts the pick in the optimal position to break the lock, automatically. A bit boring.

Done and done SERV3! i sunk 180 hours into tyhe xbox version... you have allowed me essentially pick up where i left off.. rather than wasting time on grinding! thanks man appreciate it!

loved this mod , but had to drop a lot of mods to get leavels over 68

@kanos208 The launcher and workshop seem to be very glitchy. That often happens when you try to subscribe to loads of mods at once. Try subscribing to a few of them then letting the launcher synchronise and then subscribing to more. If that doesn't work then try verifying your installtion and waiting a bit. Hope this helps :)

keeps saying steam error 16 for all your mods. I have tried resubscribing... :( I really want these mods! :( what do I do?

@Kilgharrah No problem :) You can either wait for the book to respawn in its original location (I can't remember the exact time, but it's the default respawn time) or you can add it to your inventory. To do this find the id with 'help "the book of lockpicking"' (don't forget to surround the book name with double quotes) and then type 'player.additem ID 1' (replacing 'ID' with the id of the book.)

so SERV3 I first want to say thxs for all your help when i had just resubcribed i saw that some subcribed item have been set to load and had forgot to tell you that i have picked up the book before and i stored in a house that i got for the workshop but guy ended up being a jerk then got rid of it so everything that was in the house was gone and the book was in there was wondering what sould i do thanks Kilgharrah

@w.onderboy Make sure it's enabled in the data files list in the launcher. If it's already enabled try to add it to your inventory in the console. You can find the item ID by searching for it with the help command (it's different for each installation). If that doesn't help then the Steam Workshop is glitching and you should probably wait a bit then resubscribe.

Hey @w.onderboy. It's possible that Steam or the launcher has glitched during the download or the mod hasn't finished downloading (this is often the problem if you have loads of mods). To fix this wait for the launcher to say 'Finished Synchronising Subscribed Mods' before you press play. Hope this helps :)

i cant seem to find the book ivw looked everywhere in riverwood but no book

xXxHoodyxXx, I don't think it would be reasonable for me to expect a mod author to make a version compatible with a specific overhaul mod just for me, or just on the off chance other users of that mod also wanted this (especially given the whole point of Requiem is that it's more challenging, so probably most people won't be using mods like this anyway! I ended up deciding to go with the Requiem thing anyway.)

@xXxHoodyxXx I'm not exactly sure what you mean. I'm making a version which will contain all of the books and one for the Vampirism skill.

Cant you make anoother actual mod with them and then still have this one just have the other one for people like gnewa

Yeah, definitely more trouble than it's worth, especially as you'd probably get some people downloading the wrong one and then complaining! Oh well, thanks for looking into it :)

Yeah, I doubt it could be done without SERV3 having to basically make a whole nother version of this mod which would be way more hassle than it's worth.

It might level your lockpicking up to 100 and give you the perks that are still there, but it shouldn't give you the modded perks. Maybe this is something SERV3 could do, give it compatibility for this mod?

Thanks - I've had a look and it seems to use some of the vanilla codes, but I've decided not to use it because I'm not quite sure it won't do something weird if the mod tries to tell it to add perks that are no longer 'in game'. Oh well, thanks anyway!

Hey @gnewna, It may be compatible. If Requiem changes the actual IDs of the perks then it won't be but it will still set your skill to 100.

I really Like your work. I find these perkless books very useful for things like block, pickpocket, lockpick and alchemy as I find them hard to level up because I don't use them very often.

Riverwood - 2 outside Sven's house - 2 outside the Sleeping Giant Inn - 1 in the the Riverwood Trader on the second floor - 1 on Alvor's armor table - 1 on Alvor's workbench - 1 outside Faendal's house
Riften - 1 in the bedroom on the end table inside Elgrim's Elixir's
