That isn't possible. The only possible way to get a working ones is two add-on's, but you can't have one without the shield it can be colored or change the material to invisible, but no nothing else.

For players

For NPCs (For one model it requires HL:2 EP2)

and can npc's use this

is it possible that you can place this gun without the combine shield thing
