i had this mod installed and it conflicted with interactive world .i had my party set up in the bar on the left in shark and when i moved them to the shop to the right near the gate the game crashed,i had a similar experience when entering the swamp from the nomad settlement area into the swamp.It seems to be OK in other areas i have been so far , like the desert and the holy lands i hope this aids in finding a fix for it I have a number of other mods running and this is the only one that conflicts i would very much like to use this mod again

I was going crazy trying to locate this in my mod list because it's actually called 'Less Particles'.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart, this mod has single-handedly saved my kenshi playin experience. The other mods dont work aswell and some even remove the fog from the foglands. This is the most essential mod for kenshi.

Is this mod compatible with Genesis?

this mod looks ideal, curious what the 'Footstep particles' is called in the FCS though? Looking through the changes the mod makes I was presuming it might be either "Fly-Particle" or "Local-SWIRL-devil" maybe?

@Totally Not a Skeleton Did you try Kenshi Mod Manager [github.com]? It helped me finding some mod conflicts in the past.

Honestly if checking mod compatibility manually one by one didn't take so dang long, I would go through my mod list and tell you what mods it clashes with.

The mod does have many conflicts with other mods, regardless of load order. It's unfortunate but this mod is the best I could do in FCS :(

Unfortunately, this mod causes an instant crash for me in a relatively big mod list, even when it's at the very bottom.

would it conflict or help if i also use Compressed Textures Project with your mod?

im mostly looking for things to load the map faster, i have some characters with scout legs and they run so damn fast the game cant keep up

Then the mod probably isn't for you. Footstep particles were one of the biggest things that dropped FPS

hmm i kinda like the foot clouds, helps me avoid ♥♥♥♥ in the dark

@snowii also feel free to recreate my foot dust remover and upload it. i don't plan on uploading mine.

@snowii. i was inspired to make a similar mod. it just removes the foot dust. it helps reduce load times slightly and so far hasnt caused crashes.

i don't know why mine doesnt crash but i assume those particles tied to the biomes are the issue.

Unfortunate. It seems as though almost all of these FPS booster type mods are hard to use alongside large mods like genesis. I'm not sure if there's any way around this but if I find one I'll patch it and DM you to let you know.

Unfortunately this case isn't solved with importing. Even on a brand new save with only Project Genesis and this mod loaded it will crash every time I get near the place.

The mod does cause crashes with a few large scale mods. What worked for me and others is saving, importing, then loading off of the import. It's a bit of a hassle but hopefully it helps

I've been getting crashes with this in combination with Project Genesis running north through Orkan's Valley. There is a village near the middle called Ruvanil that causes a CTD when it tries to load in.

Its causing crashes for me too.

@donald.nintendo Where are you in the game when you get the crashes? I'm running this version with no issues at the moment. Could be that I wasn't in a crash zone on the map though
