The only think I can think of is that the button next to the gate locks it and it's associated sensor not open it. The gate opens and closes automatically with a sensor but the sensor's range is set VERY close to the gate to avoid accidental activation. Hope this helps

when i try to close the gate it says activation failed can you help with this?
