There's not a way to do that right now. I had planned to do custom question timing at some point, but demand is low and it would break the timer at the bottom of the board with the way it's built now. I can revisit this for the next update, but there's no timeline for when that will be.

Is there a setting to remove the question timer? So that the question stays there until someone answers correctly?

Custom Jeopardy cards often fail if they use special characters due to a limitation within Tabletop Simulator. Beyond that, I'm not aware of any issues, but if you find something that causes the custom game card to fail consistently, please let me know and I'll see if I can fix it.

I noticed that sometimes the export data of the objects sometimes disappear when I check the backside of the card. Why does it seem so buggy to type in a custom Jeopardy? Is there an easier way to type it all up so we don't get errors? I sometimes type up my own questions and now am typing categories one at a time and saving to see if it saves properly and I don't even understand what causes errors.

Still getting the error in script, checker black error on basically all game ID's I try to load in, even ones that worked a few minutes ago during testing. I appreciate the authors' continued work on this, seems super annoying to deal with

jageur - make sure the host picks the Teal color, then go to j-archive (dot) com and find a game. Put the game id that's in the URL (NOT the show number) in the text field with the host controls and hit "Load". After that it's pretty self explanatory, but if you have any issues please feel free to add me :)

@the Lavender Flock All done. I had to redesign the whole backend for it to work but it's a lot better now and a bit faster. All because of a redesign of j-archive.

Is there a discord or way to find players in advance? I really like this mod, just a craps shoot when a non password protected lobby of it is open to play.

Not sure if this is happening to everyone, but the newest games are now showing the answers instead of the questions when clicking on the square (this happened with games 7842 and 7840)

@Manthony I'll look into that. It's unclear to me why it periodically fails, and I'm unable to replicate the issue.

@Nils I can set a buzzer timer at some point in the settings at the top, but it probably won't be any time soon.

Can i keep the buzzer open longer then 3 sec?

I get a nil index error when attempting to load a game from jarchive. The nil error is on line 2986 in Checker Black. From some experimentation uncommenting the `log(QuestionData)` on line 2983 resolves the issue. With that uncommented I am able to load both random games and games using the ID from jarchive.

@dannyboythezombie If you played with the default Timed Buzzers you will notice the same person getting the buzzers always because of ping. Random at least gives everyone who buzzes in a chance. There is no way to compensate on ping since ping is not an exposed value in coding.

This is my fault again, has to do with an SSL Certificate. All fixed now. It has been an issue for about 3 days.

Script seems to be broken nowadays. Anyone find a fix yet?

j-archive files are no longer working, at least not for me. Not sure if there is a fix that I can do to get it working. But its coming up with the error "Error in Script (Checker Black - a94ab1) function <gameCustomLoad>: chunk_3:(2326,8-56): attempt to index a nil value" anytime I try to put in a code and load the questions.

If anyone is reading this I am currently working on the backend server and should be working shortly. J-Archive changed some things which caused some corrupted database entries and long story short I am fixing it.

I can't get any of the questions loaded... I don't know what I did! :( Only categories get loaded in.

Recent games from J-Archive are not loading questions. The categories come in, but none of the questions do.

As far as I can tell, you can get around that by starting a new game and then attempting to load your game, as long as your custom game card doesn't have any errors or anything. It's something I can look into when I release the next update.
