A shame this mod will not be ported for Warhammer "3", but I hope the unique capitals can eventually show up. Now with the "world map", there's plenty of potential for cool capitals

WH3 version is about all I'd do if I were to port this mod, there's not many asset creators out there to make literally thousands of combinations of settlement skins. It was difficult enough to coordinate the very few skins we made for this version. I would, unfortunately, not get your hopes up :p

Are you going to make this mod for Warhammer 3? i know there is Dynamic settlements BUT it's not as good as this one

I won't be doing any of that, unique capitals are prevented from overrides with the Unique Capitals GCCM mod and that functionality can be turned into a submod pretty easily along with the other stuff but I'm not doing any WH2 mods anymore

How about submod for Cataph's Southern Realms (TEB) 2.0 / ER: Kislev Reborn / Amazon?
OR
- Option to make uniques capital/setllerment like Karaz-a-Karak, Skavenblight, etc not be replaced
- Option to allow choice on what settlements are replaced.
All for WH2?

What I really meant is consistent with what the user below me said - A simple replacement script, but for WH2. I haven't found one such yet and I thought the port for WH3 below was one of yours.

There isn't going to be a full scale port because of the insane amount of effort it took to make the fairly small amount of skins available in this version. My plan for porting was just the swap functionality; anything beyond that is going to require a lot more man-hours than it's worth

I dont think the mod you linked is a port of your mod. It is just a simple script to replace skins with existing ones in the game. Your mod is much better with customised skins. Are you planning to port your mod to WH3?

Just great guys, I missed this mechanic after playing TWW1. Just one little thing, and that is that there are several settlements in which after capturing them they are shown as ruins. In Lustria, Ulthuan, Norsca and some other dwarf strongholds in the hands of skaven or greenskins they are bugged.

because of the incredible amount of effort that went into those battle maps that will need to be done nearly from scratch, and the fact that most GCCM modders have retired. I'm not affiliated with them but I wouldn't expect any major battle map mods any time soon, we only got the battle map editor a few weeks ago.

@Warlord - it works the same as this mod, the stuttering when it's first loaded is because 400 settlements are changing models at exactly the same time because of how the model changes are set up - not much can be done about that.

This mod seems to cause an issue with the Temple of Tlencan settlement. Place is just floating towers and a wall. Other than that, absolute must-have.

Love this mod but have just noticed that it makes the settlements for black crag and galbaraz load in facing the wrong way lol think it is just when they're occupied by orcs

I don't know if I'm going to port over the models as they stand in WH3, since we'll now have like 5% completion compared to 10% and it'll become even less likely anyone will continue with the models. I may just port over the script side of things, but using vanilla models for the time being, including some other settings I wanted to incorporate (ie. after X turns / after leveling up to tier X, the settlement skin turns into your own culture's, etc.)

Here's a mod idea: the individual corruption (or mixed with Control) stuff in WH3 gets turned into cultures like in historical TWs. Do that, link it with visual and campaign effects.
