The Creator is working on it. But its been a while since he has responded. Im sure that on July 2023 these surfliner/amtrak coaches that are called railcars, will be added swiftly!

Will there ever going to be a complete set of the Superliners cars? I was hoping there would be a complete set of Superliner cars, to add along with Pacific Surfliner and Amtrak California cars. It would be nice to see a complete set of bi-level cars as well, besides only having the single level cars.

You did a really good job there. Do you think you could add the Dining cars and sleeping cars in Superliner format? I do know the layout of the sleepers since I have traveled on them as of recent. Even the diner. Dining car capacity is at 72 passengers design wise (lower level is a full service kitchen) and sleepers are at 44 passengers (Operationally it's down to 42 because Roomette 1 is reserved for the car attendant).

Are there going to be any Amtrak California, Pacific Surfliner, as well as Superliner Sleeper, and Dining Cars yet? I was asking some months back if there were ever going to be such mods for TF2, to complete the entire Amtrak set to go with the existing Superliner Coach, Sightseeing Lounge, and Baggage cars.

The red tail lights on the rear of the Superliners are not lit up unlike their real life counterparts. Can you please have them light up when they are spawned in?

The coach carriage is facing the wrong way when spawned in.

It's not just doing a repaint for the Amtrak California, they have another interior and other door config. But yes i have already done this for TPF and the Cabcar is modelled.

Do you plan on doing the cabcar versions too that are used by Amtrak California? as well as the Amtrak California skins?

I do not have all 4 paints schemes (phases) of the Amtrak Superliners, and the F40PHs. I do not know how this happened, because I was expecting to have all 4 phases.

All phases that are in the picture are also included in the download, of course at the correct times in which the coaches drove

Why is there only the 2 of the current phases? What happened to the older phases? The older phases are not in this download. Why show all 4 phases, when you are only getting 2? Am I missing something?

@malik there is 2 locomotives with the pacififc surloner , its the simens one its a pack

@pacific surfliner the cars are modeled + textured, only the cabcar and a suitable locomotive are missing. If I feel like going to the other continent again, I will certainly finish building it.

@dining car, yes there aren't any, I didn't feel like it and there are more things missing, baggage, stepdown, sleeper ...

the pacific surfliner cars aren't superliners they are california cars

Older Amtrak east coast sleeper cars are available on the workshop. Is it possible to create the current Viewliner II cars? Also superliner in Surfliner livery.

@Maik Thanks, I didn't see the other pages. Still, would it be possible to make the Amtrak California Cars? They were based off of the Superliners, but are built for intercity rail, not cross-country.

Ah, thanks for clearing that up! I'm more used to aircraft here, so I kind of knew that Amtrak was inefficient, but I would have never thought that they would have been this inefficient...

Anyway, it's still an excellent mod! It's practically a must-have for any US themed map in the deserts!

There is noch chance to make it compatible because the game engine does not allow what u want.

As built, Superliner coaches could carry 62 passengers in the upper level and 15 passengers on the lower level. The lower level's capacity would later be reduced to 12.
The superliner are indeed very inefficient coaches, build for long distance travel.
You can't compare this ones with other bilevel coaches the complete lower deck of the SL only has 15 seats while other bilevels have Seats like a sardine can.
