I don't think this increases spawn rates. I compared the vanilla level generation file and the modded version, and notepad++ found no differences

Wrecks aren't saved as wrecks but are saved as subs, so they will not spawn.

Removing this mod from a save game in 0.10.x breaks wreck spawning.
Did tests, its related to the level generation overrides in the mod, but cant say if its caused by the mod or how the game handles mods.
