It's because of the official servers. You gotta play singleplayer or local server.

No mods are conflicting, and I was playing through on Singleplayer.

Official servers will not spawn female boomers on those maps and idk the rarity for the female boomers at all so its could be 50/50, check to see if there are any mods conflicting if not then idk what to tell you

I've played through Dead Center, Hard Rain, The Passing, No Mercy, Cold Stream, Crash Course, Death Toll, Dead Air, Blood Harvest, but I have not encountered a single female boomer in my time through those campaigns. I heard the female boomer sounds in The Sacrifice just after the bridge, but bots got it before i could see it and I had to sacrifice mself. i'm not sure if it was a sound glitch or actually one.

Well it says there is no audio support "talker lines" but that doesnt explain why they are missing from hard rain or cold stream

I always wondered "why". There are many questions about it that start with "why".

Like, why aren't they enabled by default? Engine limitations? Response rules? Lore (lol)?
