Step 1: enable cheats by going into console and typing "sv_cheats" and setting it to 1
Step 2: look at a nearby door and then go into console and type "ent_remove"

This would work great with the Silent Steps Addon. It just needs to work if you're holding Alt.

It makes you wish the Source Engine had a built-in stealth system so enemies can't detect your baby-steps or see you as an enemy across the map

...
do you realize that opening it slower would actually make it louder, the way to do it in real life is to quickly open the door, not to slowly do it, if you open it slowly, it actually creaks more, just find a door in your house that creaks and try.
