really enjoying the map but I keep getting a problem where the game quits when I try and load any save. Such a shame as its a cracking map. Moved on to part 2.

@Drunken420 No these are all separate maps where you start from scratch each time. Keep in mind, these were some of the earliest maps in the workshop and haven't been updated since then.

Is there a way to play each 1 after the other without having to load each one? also do weapon mods carry over?

Great Map and very good for People who know the Original :). But i have no Music. And where is the Button for the secret Room at the end?

Why won't it download?

Do I need to do anything first before I can load the Golden gun? It wont let me pull a clip out after just storing a bundle of them. Basically, is this a bug, or am I missing something?

The secret button is in the storage room behind the big shelf that has tires by it.

So far and BY far the best map. very exciting and offers verticality

Music is broken from resource manifest so it's nothing on your end - updated version will have better everthing :D

I tried this out late last night. couldn't get the wonderful music to play :( Any advice with that other than having it play somewhere in the background? Excellent work all around! Love these maps!

I liked it had enough ammo and tons of resin around to upgrade my pistol, First time i fully got to deck it out and hear alyx and russels voice interaction. I like the amount of ammo and resources given even though it was alot I find alot of maps give so little I have situations where I run out of bullets during a fire fight and now its unwinnable and I just have to reload, didn't happen here which is great. Because there is a good amount of ammo on the map the amount of enemies they have matches leading to some of the biggest fire fights I've had in alyx which was extremely satisfying because so many maps pull punches with the enemy count to make it feel more like a resource driven survival game instead of an action game this map feels like an action game extremely fun but still challenging. astounding 3 guys made this in 6 days can't wait to see more work from them and what the community comes up with after seeing what is possible with custom levels.

Is there a transition from Dam 1 to dam 2 yet? Loved the game play, well fun.

Excellent map, love the open space and the long range shots. Would kill for a sniper rifle!

The only comment I would make is that there was way too much ammo!

Very good map with lots of nice features! I'm glad someone finally took us out of the sewers and dark rooms! More ammo and resin than you can shake a stick at. I couldn't find the button to the the secret room the first time so I went back a second time and found it; very well hidden!

I have the exact same issue as the @Legoguy9875.
I can reload any other weapon BUT the golden gun. Can take ammo, but can't take it out from over the shoulder. and it's only true for the golden gun. Everything else works fine. tried to disable all other addons - didn't help.

Any help here?

Don't know if its just a bug with my game, but pistol mags don't work properly. I holster the mags behind my shoulder like normal, but when I try to pull one out to load the pistol, the game acts like I have no ammo. Tried disabling all of my addons apart from the ones needed for the map, but that did nothing.

Spent way too much time lookin for the button for the secret room. But least I found it. Good Map. Looking forward to playing the next ones

dam part 1

Excellent map. The AI doesn't _really_ allow for properly stealthy gameplay but it can be done to an extent. Couldn't find the secret.

Seconding garett02's post, what DO you do after you get in there?

Don't tell Valve, but I had more fun with the combat scenarios in this map than what I remember from HL:A. Also, don't tell Rare, but there's more going on in this than the original level layout & objective pathing in Dam--in a good way. Big fan of the whole tower sequence, from going down into the bunker to the standoff at the end. Excited to play your guys' other levels!
