Did you download GCFscape and check the box that tells it to associate with .vpk files? That should change the look of the files to something that you can open and extract.

Yeah you can unsubscribe from the mod on steam after you have placed the audio where it is supposed to go.

I have recently updated the Ryuji voice pack to fix some errors with tank dialogue and with shouting after another survivor dies. Just repeat the installation instructions again and it will be updated after that.
