@Izidore I think the console command should be "givetech MeleeExtraAttachmentSlotBreakthrough"

Oh yeah. LWotC is an abusive and intrusive overhaul that changes absolutely everything. It would have made all the normal slots vanish... glad you figured it out though!

Yes, I have the only primaries box unchecked in Squad Select and I have Mod Everything Reloaded. Could be a conflict with some other mod. Although a bit inelegant, I just changed the entries in the LWOTC Overhaul ini to get around the issue.

Most melee weapons already have one or two slots.. are you sure you have no slots... or just no way to access the slots?

Slot access for secondary weapons requires either the Mod Everything Reloaded, mod.. or the MCM toggle in RoboJumpers Squad Select for "upgrades only on primaries" turned off

Is there any way to 'force' this breakthrough? I am swimming in attachments from your other mod but I haven't gotten the breakthrough that adds slots in order to use them.

Some weapons don't have upgrade slots to begin with, like the Alien Hunter axe. That's beyond the scope of this mod.

I don't recall seeing any upgrade attachments for melee weapons in this game. But, this would be cool as a foundation to then make a suite of such attachments. Dragon age had it, things such as "wet stone" or "runes" to increase damage.
